Dr. Baljit Khamba, Naturopath Naturopathic Medicine is a system designed to treat the body as a whole and not just addressing the symptoms.

I believe in combining the rigor of modern medical research and diagnostic testing with the value of traditional healing. Dr. Baljit Khamba has a private practice in Brampton, Ontario where she focuses on a providing naturopathic support via telemedicine and in-person. She is also clinic supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic and a core faculty member at Bastyr University California. She treats a

variety of conditions but has special interest in nutritional approaches to anxiety, stress, depression, focus and attention, memory and cognition
She focuses on providing high quality care addressing the causes of disease and utilizes safe and effective natural treatments. She accepts patients and their families who are motivated to improve their health. Her emphasis is on disease prevention and health promotion through education, and empowering her patients to become active participant in the management of their own health.

🎉 Exciting Update! 🎉
I’m excited to share that my article, “Promoting Diversity in Naturopathic Medicine through Mentorship and Transformational Leadership”, was published in the CAND Journal! 📰 This piece is based on my keynote presentation at this year’s American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) Annual Convention. It explores the critical role that mentorship and leadership play in fostering diversity and supporting underrepresented communities in naturopathic medicine.

In the article, I cover:

• How Critical Race Theory can help address racial disparities in healthcare.
• The importance of mentorship in empowering diverse naturopathic students.
• The impact of transformational leadership on creating inclusive, innovative spaces in healthcare education.
• Community Cultural Wealth and how recognizing different forms of cultural capital can transform the naturopathic field.
