🔎California’s SB 729 is changing fertility coverage starting Jan 1, 2026—but here’s what you should know:

• Coverage timing depends on your employer’s plan. Plans that are issued, amended, or renewed after Jan 1, 2026 will apply SB 729 benefits at that time.
• Some services, like PGT or ICSI, may not be included.
• Self-funded plans may not be required to provide coverage.
