👏The Female Athlete Volunteers (FAV) came back to La Jolla Family House!

Take a look at the fun time they had helping families under our roof.

Not only did they meet up to handmake inspiring bracelets for our guests, but they also promoted a Food & Hygiene Donation Drive!

This car looks like it's packed with all the essentials that help families through long stays in critical care at UC San Diego Health.

🫁Our very own Pulmonary Rehab Team at UC San Diego Health stopped by for a Host-A-Meal!

Can you believe this was their very first time in our 🏡? They could've fooled us - they were pros!

Not only did they arrive with a Filipino Feast of pancit and lumpia for our families - they had already prepped the meals into ready-to-go containers!

Their thoughtfulness came in handy right away - as soon as they set up their dinner, a guest walked into our Community Kitchen. She had just flown in from out-of-state to care for her loved one and was immediately grateful to not have to think about a meal. She was planning on simply grabbing some snacks or tea and rushing back, but since the meals were already boxed and ready, she was able to take a few dinners back for the family members who stayed bedside at the hospital!

Moments like these make Family Houses home. Thank you to our team members who make a difference every single day - we hope to see you again soon!
