“Humility is not thinking of yourself at all. The humble person is lost in the needs of others.” -John Mark Comer

“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God.” -Timothy Keller

“But I will keep on hoping for your help; I will praise you more and more.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭71:14‬ ‭-NLT‬‬

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23: 1-3 NLT

You will never look into someone’s eyes that God does not love. #KindnessMatters

Sometimes God makes you wait because He is protecting you from making a mistake.

The best way to find love is to find God.

“Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.” -Bianca Olthoff

“Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither.” -C.S. Lewis

“People will know what you believe when they see what you do.” -Bob Goff

“I don't think anyone aims to be typical, really. Most people even vow to themselves some time in high school or college not to be typical. But still, they just kind of loop back to it somehow. Like the circular rails of a train at an amusement park, the scripts we know offer a brand of security, of predictability, of safety for us. But the problem is, they only take us where we've already been. They loop us back to places where everyone can easily go, not necessarily where we were made to go. Living a different kind of life takes some guts and grit and a new way of seeing things.” -Bob Goff

“Most people need love and acceptance a lot more than they need advice.” -Bob Goff

“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate." -Matthew 19:6

“A Christian is a walking sermon. They preach far more than a minister ever does, for they preach all week long.” -J.C. Ryle

Don't forfeit romance with God for romance with another.

Understand your life as a journey of lessons and you will never regret a choice.

“Every time we see people as ordinary we turn wine back into water.” -Bob Goff

The satisfaction you receive from something largely comes from the sacrifice you make for it.

To walk in love you must walk with the One who is love.

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians ‭5:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬

Hurry is incompatible with relationships. Healing begins when we slow down to a life designed for deep connection.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” -Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“In any relationship, there will be frightening spells in which your feelings of love dry up. And when that happens you must remember that the essence of marriage is that it is a covenant, a commitment, a promise of future love. So what do you do? You do the acts of love, despite your lack of feeling. You may not feel tender, sympathetic, and eager to please, but in your actions you must BE tender, understanding, forgiving and helpful. And, if you do that, as time goes on you will not only get through the dry spells, but they will become less frequent and deep, and you will become more constant in your feelings. This is what can happen if you decide to love.” -Timothy Keller

The start of something new. “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” -CS Lewis. #NewYear

Often it’s the hardest person in our life to love that God is calling us to love. If you can love that person you can love anyone, God knows this and will keep this person around until you learn to love them. #Truth

“The older you get the more faith you should have because you have experienced more of God’s faithfulness.” -Mark Batterson

Forgiveness doesn’t change the past it frees you for a better future.

“At this Christmas when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving the others with God’s own love and concern.” -Mother Teresa

“For I will restore health to your soul...” -Jeremiah 30:17

“It’s one thing to be grateful. It’s another to give thanks. Gratitude is what you feel. Thanksgiving is what you do.” –Tim Keller

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” -Psalms‬ ‭100:4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“I hope you live a life your proud of. If you find that you are not, I hope you have the strength to start again.” -F. Scott Fitzgerald
