PANS/PANDAS causes some intense sensory issues in addition to the OCD, tics, rage, cognitive regression, sleep disturbance, and urinary issues.

It really is a beast.

And there is hope. There is healing with homeopathy.

Puberty (and cougar puberty) can be a really sensitive window for sensory sensitivity, especially when you are still dealing with PANS/PANDAS. The nervous system is already on fire, so even a small thing can feel like too much.

Give yourself and your child some grace as you work through the temporary hormone chaos and adjust to the new normal of your/their body.

If you’ve seen one PANS/PANDAS kiddo - you’ve seen one. This condition can present with a whole host of different symptoms that range in severity, and every child has a different presentation.

Today we are talking about sensory issues and are joined by guest host Brittany Sumner. Sensory issues are when everyday sights, sounds, textures, tastes, smells, movement, or body sensations feel too intense, too weak, or confusing. It can be part of the PANS/PANDAS symptom picture, and homeopathy can help!

We discuss:
• Brittany and I share how this symptom presented for each of our children (and ourselves!)
• Dr. Bahr share the common healing trajectory for sensory issues (with a reminder that everyone heals differently)
• We review what sensory issues might look like, in their different presentations
• HSP’s (Highly Sensitive Persons) who are wired this way – can homeopathy help?
• Brittany and I share the wins for our children as they’ve healed with homeopathy

Separation anxiety in PANS/PANDAS often goes far beyond what we typically think of.

It isn't just not wanting to leave mom for school. It can be so intense that the child can't be away from their parent at all, even just a room away.

There are so many small things that can add up with PANS/PANDAS. Things you wouldn't think about until it is your life.

Laundry is one of them.

Kids with PANS/PANDAS will often start wetting the bed again, even after they have been potty trained for years. But the urinary challenges aren't the only thing that drives the laundry beast.

OCD is another one - contamination fears especially can drive nonstop laundry demands.

Sensory issues too - many kids have only one outfit that they will wear, so parents find themselves washing it daily.

If someone sent this to you or shared it, they probably need help with laundry...

✍🏻 New Blog Post ✍🏻

Should you start homeopathy early for PANS/PANDAS?

Short answer: yes. But here’s the real question 👇
What if the infection isn’t actually the root problem?

PANS/PANDAS flares may look sudden, but they’re driven by an underlying immune response that keeps getting re-triggered. Each flare can hit harder than the last.
That’s why many parents wish they had started addressing susceptibility, not just symptoms, sooner.

✨ Starting early can mean:
• Fewer, less intense flares
• A smoother healing journey
• Less reliance on multiple therapies
• Lower overall costs
• Way fewer battles over meds

And yes, you can still use homeopathy alongside other treatments.

Curious if starting earlier could change your child’s path?
Drop a “ME” below or share your experience, we'd love to hear where you are in your journey 💛

Rage in PANS/PANDAS kiddos is a big deal. It keeps you trapped in your home, disconnected from your community who doesn't understand what you are going through. In the worst cases, it makes you afraid for your safety.

The good news, rage is often one of the fastest things to start to settle in PANS/PANDAS when you are healing with classical homeopathy.

To learn more about how classical homeopathy works and get inspired by thousands of families who are getting their lives back, join us in our Facebook group: Homeopathy for PANS & PANDAS.
