Spring into balance with acupuncture.

Living with joint pain often means navigating conflicting advice.

Move more — but also rest.
Use ice — unless heat works better.
Strengthen — but don’t overdo it.

People often try multiple strategies over time, adjusting as symptoms change. Some approaches bring relief for a period of time. Others do very little. Some consistently make symptoms worse.

When nothing seems to lead to steady improvement, people often reach a practical crossroads. They may continue experimenting, rotate through familiar approaches, or give up.

TCM provides a framework that explains why certain interventions help, do nothing, or aggravate symptoms.

There can be wind-cold arthritis, or damp-heat type, for example. Your licensed TCM practitioner can gel you discern your pattern and offer treatment options customized to you.

Dearest Friends,
I am truly sad to leave this beloved clinic for an extended period, as I travel to Germany for precision chemotherapy for triple negative breast cancer. I am also extremely hopeful about the treatment plan, and will likely be back at work within a few months. I’m overwhelmed by all the love and support this community has shown me. You all are helping me pay for extensive treatment not covered by insurance. Your kind words, lovely cards, and healing gifts have touched my heart more than you could know.

I have been spending time with friends, engaging in all kinds of healing therapies, and finding more peace and gratitude.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I’ll be back before you know it!

Dear clinic friends,

I’m sorry to report I’ve been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I’ve posted my story within this GoFundMe. I will email and post updates including temporary closed dates, etc, as I embark on a healing journey and evict this cancer from my body! To all who are providing all kids of support, kindness, and help, thank you!!

Schedule early for the next few weeks; we’ll soon be in hiatus.

I’m also eternally grateful for all donations toward my treatment. Costs not covered by health insurance are estimated to be about $90,000. Part of the reason I’ve chosen this plan is that I’ll be able to keep the clinic and get back to work after a few months of treatment.
