Well, it looks like the commitment is real(4lbs to be exact!) If you are Gluten-Free, grain free, Paleo, Keto, or whatever you want to call it, you know you have a stash of "flours." Our go to tends to be almond or oat flour, but boy do we have a stash of everything, except coconut flour! So here we go! This is a great, short video explaining the importance of testing insulin when it comes to screening for diabetes or trying to prevent someone from becoming diabetic. There are different ways to perform this test. Furthermore levels of expected insulin and glucose at various time intervals have been debated, however there are ranges of results which can be used to look for evidence of trending towards diabetes. We often modify this test slightly as compliance to get clients to perform a 2 hour test is not high to begin with. With modifications we increase the likelihood that that the test will be preformed so we can get the answers we need.

Note that this example is of someone with glucose and hemoglobin A1c levels that are very close to being "normal." This is something we see often, where insulin is the marker that brings the story to light.
