The school year is ending and lots has happened regarding your child's IEP...

• Delayed meetings
• Missing progress reports
• Poorly implemented behavior plans
• Lost items
• Staff who didn't offer/follow your child's accommodations
• Multiple asks to pick up your child from school early

Take time now to create an "IEP Timeline". Outline for yourself each month of the school year 📆 and what incidents occurred when. This will support you in objectively reviewing the facts and considering next steps 🏫📄

Also, any advocate, attorney, school admin, or complaint officer will have an easier time reviewing your case with the information outlined clearly.

Hopefully you and your child had a great school year 💙🎊 But if there were any hiccups along the way, we encourage you to document, document, document ✍️🏽
