In preparation for back to school, the Association of Raza Educators and Union del Barrio will be providing a training to prepare educators and familias to protect and defend students, staff and families from ICE terror! Join us to learn how to organize your campus and community to keep us safe! Our students and families are sacred and it is our duty to stand in defense of our communities!

We’re excited to launch a new event series this summer: Sonidos Del Barrio – A Three-Part Mini Concert Series at Cesar Chavez Park on the Bay presented by ! This free, family-friendly event will celebrate music, wellness, and community. Guests can look forward to live entertainment at a main stage, a DJ session on the Pier overlooking the bay, free health and wellness activities, local art and vendors, and a relaxing atmosphere perfect for picnicking with blankets and chairs. Thank you and many more of the community for coming together to make this happen!

Este evento gratuito y familiar celebrará la música, el bienestar y la comunidad. Los asistentes disfrutarán de entretenimiento en vivo en el escenario principal, una sesión de DJ en el muelle con vistas a la bahía, actividades gratuitas de salud y bienestar, arte y vendedores locales, y un ambiente relajante ideal para disfrutar de un picnic con mantas y sillas.

It is with great sadness we share that our beloved Patrick the mailman has passed away. He was our favorite Logan Heights mail carrier for years and years. He and his wonderful wife retired from the Logan Heights Post Office together. He was a friend and to some he became family. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
