Even experienced practitioners need space to reflect.

A place to slow down, look at a case from new angles, and stay connected to the heart of the work.

That is where real refinement happens.

Insight is an important part of healing.

Integration is what allows it to last 🔄

It is one thing to have a shift in a session. It is another to have that shift carry into daily life.

Integration is the process of the nervous system adapting to a new baseline. It’s where the work becomes stable and sustainable, rather than temporary.

Without integration, people often find themselves revisiting the same patterns.

With integration, the response itself begins to change.

This is where healing becomes something you live, not something you revisit.

Many practitioners are looking for approaches that go beyond insight and work directly with the body’s response.

That is where the nervous system becomes central.

The 28th International Energy Psychology Conference, hosted by ACEP, takes place May 28 through June 1, 2026 in Reston, Virginia, and brings together clinicians and practitioners working at the intersection of emotional healing, physiology, and energy-based methods.

This year’s theme, “Roots and Wings: Healing and Thriving with Science and Spirit,” reflects an ongoing effort to integrate grounded clinical practice with emerging approaches that address how emotional patterns are actually held and resolved.

In my work with Thought Field Therapy, the focus has always been on reducing activation in the system as efficiently as possible.

When that changes, the emotional response often changes with it.
Conferences like this provide an opportunity to deepen that understanding through direct experience, clinical application, and dialogue with others doing this work.

If you are interested in approaches that work at the level where these patterns are held, this is a valuable space to learn and refine your skills. More info here: https://www.ep-conference.org/

Healing is often thought of as an individual process.

But in many cases, it happens more effectively in the presence of others 🤝

When we are in a supportive environment, the nervous system can begin to register safety in a different way. Being seen, heard, and understood without judgment can reduce activation and allow the body to settle.

This is not just emotional. It is physiological.

Community can provide a stabilizing effect on the nervous system, which creates the conditions for deeper healing to occur. It helps shift patterns that may not change in isolation.

You are not meant to do this work alone.

If you’ve ever said, “I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I still do,” this is why.

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to logic first. It responds to perceived safety.

Even when your mind understands that you’re okay, your body may still be reacting based on past patterns. That’s why the same emotional responses can keep showing up.

Healing isn’t just about understanding.

It’s about helping the body release the response it’s been holding onto.

When the nervous system settles, the reaction changes.

Many people try to manage emotional stress by changing their thoughts.

What is often overlooked is the role of the nervous system.

If the system remains activated, the body will continue to respond as if there is a threat, even when you consciously know there isn’t. This is why emotional patterns can persist despite insight.

I recently had a conversation on The Ultimate Journey of Self-Care, hosted by Alison Katschkowsky, where we explored this in more depth.

In that discussion, I explain:

✔️ How the nervous system stores and maintains emotional responses
✔️ Why some approaches provide temporary relief while others create lasting change
✔️ How Thought Field Therapy works to reduce physiological activation
✔️ What it looks like when a response actually resolves
If you’re interested in understanding how these patterns develop and how they can shift, you may find the conversation useful.

Your nervous system plays a much bigger role in emotional healing than most people realize 🧠

When your system is activated, your body is operating from a place of protection, not clarity. That’s when anxiety, overwhelm, or reactivity show up.

And here’s the important part:

That response isn’t something you’re choosing. It’s something your system has learned.

Real change happens when the nervous system begins to feel safe again. When that happens, the intensity of the emotional response can decrease without forcing it.

You’re not trying to control the reaction. You’re changing the system that’s creating it.

Not all professional development creates real change. Some trainings offer inspiration, others provide information, but the most valuable ones shift how you think and work.

They help you recognize patterns more clearly, respond with greater precision, and feel more grounded when working with complex or stuck situations.

That’s what many practitioners are looking for. Not more surface-level tools, but a deeper level of skill that holds up in real-world practice.

Thought Field Therapy has been that for many. It supports a more structured, diagnostic way of working that builds confidence over time.

When your understanding deepens, your work naturally follows. ✨

Something new is coming…

Over the years, I’ve heard from so many practitioners who want to learn Thought Field Therapy but can’t make a live training schedule work.

So we’re changing that.

We’re preparing a new way to experience this training one that fits into your life, your timing, and your pace.

Same depth. Same precision. Same powerful tools. Just a different way to learn.

We’re not open yet, but we’re getting close.

Ever have a moment where your usual tools just don’t land? You’re doing what you’ve been trained to do, you’re showing up fully, and still something doesn’t shift.

That’s often a signal that more precision is needed. Not more techniques for the sake of it, but a deeper understanding of what’s actually happening and how to respond in real time.

This is where strong professional development makes a difference. The kind that helps you move beyond guessing and into a clearer, more structured way of working with complex cases.

That’s what many practitioners find in Thought Field Therapy. It offers a framework for knowing what to do next, especially when things feel stuck.

If you care about doing thoughtful, effective work and continuing to grow in your field, this kind of development can be a turning point. ✨

Empowerment doesn’t always come from big breakthroughs. Often, it begins with something much quieter.

It might look like noticing your response before it takes over.

Pausing instead of reacting. Staying present when you might usually shut down.

Thought Field Therapy helps create that space by reducing the intensity of what you’re feeling in the moment. From there, something important becomes available again: choice.

And with choice comes agency. Not control over everything, but a steadier way of meeting what’s in front of you.

Over time, these moments can shift how you experience yourself and your life ✨
