Today is my mom’s birthday. She left this world when I was 12; she was only 38. I look back at these little moments we had, and I feel both gratitude and an ache for all the years that were taken from us… all the wisdom, comfort, and guidance I never got to receive.

Her loss shaped who I am in ways I’m still learning to understand. And even after all this time, I miss her deeply.
Happy heavenly birthday, Mom. 🤍
