🗣 18 months
• Says ~10–20 words
• Points to familiar objects when named
• Follows simple directions

🗣 2 years
• Uses 2-word phrases (“more juice”)
• Says ~50+ words
• Begins to name items in a picture book

🗣 3 years
• Speaks in 3–4 word sentences
• Can be understood by familiar adults most of the time
• Asks “what” and “where” questions
