✨New Class Schedule Beginning March 1, 2026✨

Dear Student,

We’re excited to introduce a new class schedule starting March 1, 2026, thoughtfully designed to create a more accessible, consistent, and supportive experience for your yoga practice.

Thank you for being an important part of our community. We are proud to have offered yoga for the past 20 years. We are open seven days a week and offer 39 weekly classes, creating a variety of opportunities for you to step onto your mat. We offer Gentle, Restorative, Yin, All Levels, Flowing, Heated, Pranayama, and Meditation classes to meet all your needs.

With this new schedule, our intention is to help you practice more easily and more often. By creating greater consistency in start times and expanding variety, we hope it will be easier to find classes that fit naturally into your daily routine while also inviting you to explore something new.

Since emerging from the pandemic, daily routines and work schedules have naturally evolved. This is our first comprehensive schedule update during this time, and our intention is to better reflect the current needs of our community while making it easier for you to maintain a consistent and supportive practice.

Many of your favorite classes remain unchanged, and any new changes have been intentionally made with care for your experience, whether you seek steadiness, growth, challenge, or restoration.

We look forward to continuing to support your practice and seeing you in the studio soon.

With gratitude,
Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga

When we hear the word ‘yoga’, we often picture a body in a complicated position that demands balance, flexibility and strength. Or we imagine a monk sitting in the stillness of meditation with their legs folded into a pretzel shape. These are definitely examples of yoga, but they do not give us the full picture of the practice. This is why we include so many specialty topics during our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Pilgrimage of the Heart.

Our trainees take a deep dive into how to cue and refine many postures, but they also learn the anatomical foundation of the poses. They come to understand yoga philosophy in a broader sense when they learn the tenets of Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science. They also have the chance to grow their skills in communication and in crafting a business identity for themselves as yoga practitioners and teachers. Our program is as rich as the practice of yoga itself, and we hope to inspire a lifelong investigation into all of its aspects long after our training ends.

❤️ "This program touched on many wonderful subjects and was very thorough in its approach." ~J.C., 2025 Grad

❤️ "[What I liked best was] the variety of what we learned. It was much more than asana!" ~2025 Grad

❤️ "I liked the layers of exposure. This was not merely an asana sequencing course." ~2023 Grad

***Registration deadline is 2/24 (payment plan available)***

Thank You. In these times of collective stress, violence, unrest, and division, many of us are feeling unsettled and overwhelmed. Yoga offers a chance to pause, breathe, feel, and reconnect with inner steadiness.

I want to thank our staff, teachers, and community for helping create a sacred space where we can gather in our shared humanity, steady our nervous systems, soften our hearts, and remember what peace feels like.

From this inner peace comes discernment, and from discernment, both wise action and quiet presence naturally follow.

✨️ Meet Nicole Pisciotto ✨️ A long-time Pilgrimage teacher, she offers many healing opportunities on and off the mat, including Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Reflexology. She discovered yoga in her early twenties and has never looked back. Relocating to California from Florida and pursuing her own yogic path led her to pursue teaching with a knowing that sharing this ancient practice and its many gifts is one of the things that she's here to do. Nicole truly believes a daily visit to your mat can make all the difference in the world.

You can practice with Nicole on Wednesdays at 6:45pm for Yin+Reiki+Sound Healing and on Thursdays at 10:00am for Gentle Yoga. You can also practice with her when she leads the February studio workshop -- "Yoga of the Heart: Yin, Sound & Soul Expression." Read on to learn more about Nicole!

💜 What inspires your yoga or meditation practice?
My main inspiration is maintaining balance of mind and heart. A challenging feat these days, but one of the best things we can do for ourselves. A close second is keeping my body supple and comfortable as I age.

💜 What are your favorite and/or most challenging poses at the moment?
Vrksasana (Tree Pose) for stability, followed by Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose), which is also a backbend and a great way for me to balance the daily passive forward bending I experience with my body.

💜 Any inspiring books, podcasts, or movies you recommend?
I just watched the film 'Licorice Pizza' and I loved it! It's a coming-of-age piece of cinema that takes place in the early 70's, which is the time I was arriving on the planet. I also love the podcast 'The Pete and Sebastian Show.' They're both Italian and I can relate so much to the ridiculousness that they chat about... hilarious!
