Today, we remember.

September 11th will forever be a day etched into our hearts. A day of loss, of bravery, of unity. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the heroes who rushed toward danger, and the families who continue to carry the weight of that morning.

In the face of unimaginable tragedy, we saw courage. We saw resilience. We saw a nation come together.

May we never forget the lives taken, the sacrifices made, and the strength that rose from the ashes.

Trick or Treating is coming up!

Here are some ways you can support your child with their speech and communication this Halloween!

-Go with their attempt of saying "Trick or Treat." Even if it isn't 100% clear they are doing their best!

-Using other words instead of trick or treat such as "Please" or "Hi" could be a way to verbalize requesting candy.

-Putting a sign on your child's bucket gives your child extra support while going door to door.

-If your child is able to make requests through signs and gestures, encourage to sign!

-Attach a sign or speech bubble to your child's costume that says "trick or treat"

-If your child uses an AAC device, make sure "Trick or Treat" is programmed into the device.
