Today is Jacob’s lumbar puncture and EKG. His port has been accessed and we’re just waiting for his turn to get the procedure done 🙏🏻

Please help us pray for good results. Today’s results + MRI on the 26th will determine how aggressive/mild his chemotherapy will be.

Good morning ❤️

Jacob had his neurosurgery appointment yesterday. We were able to see Spider-Man in action 🤭

Everything went well at the appointment.

Next steps as of now are a lumbar puncture, an MRI and a meeting with the oncologists. He’ll be scheduled for an Ommaya insertion on the second week of June and will begin chemo at the end of June.

Jacob tuvo su cita con neurocirugía ayer. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver al Hombre Araña en acción 🤭

Todo salió bien en la cita.

Los siguientes pasos hasta el momento es una punción lumbar, una resonancia magnética y una reunión con los oncólogos. Será programado para la inserción de un Ommaya en la segunda semana de Junio y comenzará quimio a finales de junio.

Good afternoon🤍🙏🏻

It’s been two weeks since Jacob finished radiation. We have been enjoying every single day 🤍

He’s doing so good, and growing up so fast. He will have a neurosurgery follow up on Monday to see how he’s recovered from his back surgery.

Also, his MRI and lumbar puncture have been scheduled and we humbly ask you to pray for clear results 🙏🏻

Jacob will have a little bit of a break before he begins chemotherapy. We do not know exact dates yet.

Thank you all so much for the incredible support and love you have shown us 🤍🙏🏻

Han pasado dos semanas desde que Jacob terminó radiación y hemos estado disfrutando de cada momento 🤍

Ha estado muy bien y creciendo muy rápido. Tendrá una cita de seguimiento con neurocirugía el lunes para ver qué tal se ha recuperado de la operación de su espalda.

Además, su resonancia magnética y punción lumbar ya han sido programadas, les pedimos que oren por resultados libres de todo mal 🙏🏻

Jacob tendrá un pequeño descanso antes de comenzar con quimioterapia. Aún no sabemos las fechas exactas.

Muchas gracias a todos por sus increíbles muestras de apoyo y amor 🤍🙏🏻

Oh we are super grateful and excited about tomorrow. Jacob will receive his last session of radiation and will ring the bell 🔔

His treatment will continue, however this is a big step on this journey and definitely worth celebrating 🎉

God is good 🤍✨

It’s been a week since our last updated.
Everything is still going smoothly. Jacob has only 4 more sessions to go and God willing he will be ringing the bell on Friday 🥳🎉

Such a blessing seeing Jacob doing so well and staying positive 🙌🏻

This week we will be enjoying a well deserved retreat with a beautiful foundation. I’ll share more pictures 🩵

Ha pasado una semana desde nuestra última actualización.
Todo sigue marchando bien. A Jacob solo le faltan 4 sesiones más y con el favor de Dios estará tocando la campana el viernes 🥳🎉

Es una gran bendición ver a Jacob tan bien y tan positivo 🙌🏻

We hope you all have a blessed resurrection weekend 🙏🏻✨

Day 13 of radiation ✅
Port access for this week ✅

After a beautiful weekend enjoying the sun, the sand and the water, it was time to go back to our daily routine. Jacob woke up super early yesterday and with the best attitude went in to get his port accessed and session 13 of radiation.

We have 9 sessions to go 🎉

Después de un hermoso fin de semana disfrutando el sol, la arena y el agua, era tiempo de regresar a nuestra rutina diaria. Jacob despertó muy temprano ayer y con la mejor actitud fue a que accesaran su puerto y a recibir la sesión 13 de radiación.

Days 9-12 of radiation ✅
We’re half way through this part of treatment and Jacob still doing great.

We don’t expect to see lots of changes in him: maybe he’ll be a little tire, some redness on the skin but nothing her and we pray it continues that way 🙏🏻

We have 10 more sessions to go 💪🏻
Please continue praying for Jacob 🤍

Ya vamos a la mitad de esta parte del tratamiento y Jacob está excelente.

No espéranos ver muchos cambios en él: quizá estará un poco cansado, un poco de irritación en su piel pero no hay señales de nada de eso y oramos para que continúe así 🙏🏻

Nos faltan 10 sesiones más 💪🏻

Days 6 and 7 of radiation ✅
Port access for this new week ✅

Day 8 of radiation in progress …

Jacob has received 7 sessions of radiation out of 22. He’s doing amazing, staying active, eating well, and with a great attitude.

During the weekend his port was deaccessed and he was able to enjoy 2 birthday parties from his friends at school, and got some pool time at his greatgrandm’s house 🏊

Today’s port accessing went as smooth as it could go. Jacob amazes me everyday 🥹 he’s amazing! 🤍✨

He’s now in his 8th session of radiation.

14 more to go… 🙏🏻

Jacob ha recibido 7 sesiones de radiación de 22.
Él está muy bien, manteniéndose activo, comiendo bien y con una gran actitud.

Durante el fin de semana su puerto fue desaccesado y pudo disfrutar de dos fiestas de cumpleaños de sus compañeritos de la escuela, y hasta se metió a la alberca en casa de su bisabuelita 🏊

El acceso del puerto de esta semana fue todo un éxito. Jacob no deja de sorprenderme 🥹 él es maravilloso 🤍✨

Ahorita está recibiendo la 8va sesión de radiación.

Nos faltan 14… 🙏🏻
