“Small consistent improvements create major long-term transformation.”

The brain responds to repetition more than occasional bursts of motivation.

What you repeatedly tell yourself matters more than most people realize.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”

Memorial Day is not just reflection on loss, but connection to legacy. Today we hold space in silence, respect, and remembrance.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Stress. Overthinking. That quiet sense of being stuck. These aren't signs that something is wrong with you. They're signs your mind has been working hard to protect you and often in ways you aren't even aware of.

In my new post, I share something I've seen in my clinical work for decades:

The patterns holding you back aren't permanent. What has been learned can be changed.

I also walk you through some simple, science-backed practices — including a breathing technique that takes less than 3 minutes and can shift your nervous system out of stress mode almost immediately.

If you've been feeling off, foggy, or like you're working harder than the results you're getting... this one is worth a read.

And as always, free breathing and centering exercises are available on my website anytime you need them.

With care,
Dr. George Pratt

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but caring for your mental and emotional well-being is not something to think about once a year. It’s something that impacts the way we think, feel, perform, and move through life every day.

Highly sensitive people are often told they’re “too much.”

But sensitivity can also mean:

-Emotionally perceptive
-Intuitive
-Creative
-Deeply empathetic

The goal isn’t becoming less sensitive. It’s learning regulation and boundaries.

If you’ve been feeling stuck in the same patterns—

Pause and ask yourself: “What belief might be driving this?”
Awareness is the first step to change.

If you want a deeper framework, Code to Joy walks through it step by step.

There’s a quieter version of life available to you. One where your mind feels clear, your body feels safe, and your thoughts aren’t constantly racing.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month— a gentle invitation to come back to yourself.

Not the version of you that’s constantly thinking, planning, or holding everything together… but the version that exists underneath all of that.

The one that feels calm.
Clear.
At ease.

So many people are moving through life carrying invisible weight, stress, overthinking, emotional patterns that were learned long ago.

Not because something is wrong; but because the mind learned how to protect you the best way it could.

And sometimes, that protection turns into pressure.

But the truth is…
you don’t have to carry it forever.

Caring for your inner world isn’t something to visit once a year.
It’s something you return to daily, gently, intentionally.

You’re allowed to pause.
To soften.
To take one breath that isn’t rushed.

And in those small moments… awareness, support, guidance…
things can begin to shift.

If you’ve been feeling called to understand your mind on a deeper level,
support is available.

If it feels aligned, sessions with Dr. George Pratt are available.

No pressure. Just a space to begin.

What If Happiness Isn’t Something You Chase… But Something You Unlock?

Most people spend years trying to fix their lives from the outside—new routines, new goals, more discipline.

But what if the real shift starts within?

Dr. George Pratt’s book, Code to Joy, explores a powerful idea:

👉 You already have the capacity for joy—it’s just being blocked.

What Code to Joy Is About:

This book introduces a 4-step method designed to help you identify and release the subconscious patterns that hold you back from feeling calm, confident, and fulfilled.

Instead of just “thinking positive,” it dives deeper into:
- 🧠 How your subconscious mind shapes your habits, emotions, and reactions
- 🔄 Why certain patterns keep repeating (even when you know better)
- ✨ Practical techniques using hypnotherapy and mind-body approaches to create real change
- ⚡ How to shift from stress and self-doubt into clarity, performance, and ease

Dr. Pratt combines psychology, neuroscience, and clinical hypnosis into tools that are actually usable in everyday life—not just theory.

💡 Why It Stands Out

This isn’t about forcing yourself to be happy, it’s about:
- Removing internal resistance
- Rewiring limiting beliefs
- Letting your natural state of joy, focus, and resilience come forward
(And yes—this is the same work that has been used with high performers, athletes, and entrepreneurs)

🔓 Ready to Unlock It?

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something is holding you back—but you can’t quite explain what—this book might give you the missing piece.

Your mind already has the blueprint.

Anything that puts you in regular contact with nature has a decidedly positive impact on the nervous system. Fractals are patterns in nature that repeat at different scales. These patterns are made up of similar copies of themselves and can be found in trees, plants, seashells, crystals and snowflak...
