A sign of the (COVID-19) times! In addition to requiring masks for everybody who enters the office to protect our patients and our staff, checking the temperatures of all staff and all patients, caregivers, and visitors, we want to show you something that we just installed!

We have recently installed a doorstep which provides a hands-free way to open our front door! It’s the red metal thing in the picture.

As your doctors and health care providers, we take your health very seriously. As you’ve probably heard or read, the coronavirus COVID-19 is moving through our country.

Be assured that we are following best practices to keep you and your family safe and thoroughly sanitize each room before every patient encounter. In addition, we are screening patients to minimize the risk of transmission. We are also asking patients to socially distance from each other when in our waiting room (by sitting at least 6 feet apart).

As per CDC guidelines, we are asking that all patients wear a mask when they enter the office and keep it on for the duration of your visit.

If you:

1) Have respiratory tract symptoms (runny nose, cough, sore throat)

2) Have traveled internationally, or from anyplace where the virus is endemic.
OR

3) Have a fever (temperature over 99.5 F)

please kindly protect our other patients and staff and reschedule your appointment for when you are well. You may call us at 619-226-1877 to reschedule.

Please follow the following best practices to minimize your risk of contracting the virus:

- Stay at least 6 feet away from others if possible (social distancing).
- Cover your mouth with a tissue or elbow if you cough or sneeze.
- Refrain from shaking hands, hugging, or kissing.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20-30 seconds; if soap is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with an alcohol concentration of at least 60 percent.
-Call your primary doctor if you have a fever and upper respiratory symptoms, especially if you have a history of recent travel or contact with another individual who has tested postiive for COVID-19.
