Come explore the SACROTUBEROUS ligament with us in the LAB in June.

The sacrotuberous ligaments are not just a bunch of collagen "strapping tape" holding it all together down there at the base of the pelvis. 🤯

This ligament actually has fibers running in a few different directions and a 🌪twist in the middle. In the Lab, we get to explore what is connected to these different bands of fibers. 🤔Asking: What are they continuous with? What forces might be running along these fibers?

In the LAB, we can touch and feel this ligament. 🤲 We can attempt to manipulate it. How tough is it? How much give does it have?

And we ponder: what does a Sacrotuberous Release do?? For us, getting to know its relationship with the glutes, deep hip muscles and the pelvic floor, in addition to the hamstrings, SIjoints and thoracolumbar fascia...THAT has exploded our understanding of how and why we might work with a client's sacrotuberous ligaments.

Today we get to meet our donors for next week’s class. This lady has had a mastectomy and what looks like lymph node removal. There are other scars on her abdomen as well. This will be an ideal opportunity to examine how this scarring affects other areas and impacts on movement in both upper and lower body. Such a wonderful and blessed opportunity to see how this.
