Morning Dosa, w/ homemade batter.
Yes, it's a lot of work for just a few "savory lacy pancakes". It's easier to just order at a restaurant and get a bigger crispier crepe and with the many fixings too.
To that I say: True! But where is the sense of accomplishment there? You don't understand the joy I experience every time when I get the batter consistency right, the spread right, the crispiness v fluff right!

One is mustard greens and the other turnip greens. Can you tell which is which? It is not easy.
Though they've been cooked exactly the same way, they taste very different. If you could taste them, I think you'd immediately be able to tell the difference.

Chicken Keema, very simple with lots of dahi and dhania leaves.
Yes, I've not been cooking much. No new exciting recipes invented either. Some health issues took priority, I've been busy.

I'm making Palak Pulau today.
So far it smells quite good. Hopefully the rice holds its shape as it cooks and don't form a mush.
Some people like to puree the spinach and create green rice. I was lazy today, I didn't do that step. So what? It'll taste just as good!

Simple Chicken Coconut curry, with baby potatoes and egg. The quality of the coconut cream/ milk is the most important ingredient, get a good one like Mae Ploy, your curry will be successful. Of course, here I added some extra stuff, like the fried onions and julienned ginger.

Bread and Butter Pudding
If you've been following my posts, you'd know by now that I'm not much of a baker. Baking seems too precise too measured too choreographed, and I like my culinary art to be free flow. Also, given a choice I'd go for salty, sour, bitter, and astringent tastes before anything sweet. Sweet always comes last. But I had a fair bit of bread and crusts left over, thought I'd give my gadget a go.
