Our textile department spent 11 hours cutting out 32,324 parts for 16,162 masks for the Mask Project, an initiative by Missouri University.😷

The SaunaSpace textiles team cut out all the parts of the masks so they can be delivered in a sewing kit to sewers at home.

We’re grateful to be able to support this project and be an essential part of making this happen.😊

To give back to our community, we’ve started making our own masks which come with a unique silver based filter: Silver nanoparticles have been studied for their antimicrobial and antibacterial agents.
The shielding fabric is washable and made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.

We’ve been working on prototypes and will keep you posted on here!

One year!

Congratulations 🎉 to the incredible space that is Align SD Wellness Center on their one year anniversary! I am going to do my best to quote my gf (+ one of the healers at Align) Dr. Rachel Richard’s 5 year old daughter, “now it’s a toddler” 😂 her wisdom is so beyond her years, but yes, the first year of life is always so challenging whether it’s an actual baby or in this case, a baby that you’ve built from the ground up. More than an office, but truly a place for patients to go to be cared for + loved, which is so rare. The providers here practice holistic care which actually treats a person’s issue instead of bandaiding it. Their unique services include chiropractic care, a pelvic floor dr, a nutritionist, acupuncture + fertility, a massage therapist, and each of these practitioners brings so much more to the table - see what I did there 😉. The office features an infrared sauna for patients too. They provide such intentionally selected classes to support pregnant + postpartum mamas, which is a much needed asset to the mama community. I am more than grateful to be a patient here + taken many of their nutritional, pregnant + new mama, essential oil, Neuro Emotional Technique + more of their classes. I always leave in a more positive place mentally, physically + emotionally than when I first stepped thru the doors. Thank you again to the entire office for a wonderful + well deserved party and for doing all that you do. I’m proud to align myself with you all (that’s 2 🤣).
