The San Diego Homeless Health Initiative is a club that works to provide help to the homeless population of San Diego by giving our members a chance to volunteer, fundraise, research, and gain hands-on experience working with homeless members of our community. Because of the large number of homeless individuals in the shelters and on the streets, we want to make a sizeable impact by researching an

d working with shelters to learn how we can help in the best way possible. Our current focus is on fundraising to buy and provide hygiene and comfort kits that we will distribute to homeless individuals in downtown San Diego and various other locations. These kits will include items that homeless individuals may not have including toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, warm socks, blankets, band-aids, and other hygiene items.
