On the 1st Sunday of June each year, the WITW Toledo Chapter hosts the River Run event to commemorate the 1979 ride that launched WITW.

Today was the 47th year that WITW rode the Maumee river starting in Rossford, Ohio. We had chapter members from not only Ohio but also Michigan and Indiana. Our Ladies only ride is always the first Sunday in June. Put it on your calendar for 2026

Hope everyone had a wonderful International Female Ride Day.

May is motorcycle awareness month. Have you ever heard someone that was involved in an accident say “I didn’t see ____”. That can happen. It’s called inattentional blindness - the failure to see obvious, but unexpected objects. Motorcycles tend to fall into that unexpected category. Let’s all be safe out there.

Hope everyone had a great International Female Ride Day. A sampling of WITW members enjoying the day.

This month, we are cancelling our monthly meeting and just riding. On Saturday December 21, 2024, Carol K has planned a ride out to Borrego Springs for brunch at Kendall's Cafe. Anyone wanting to join us can meet us by the Costco gas station (12155 Tech Center Dr, Poway, CA 92064) off Scripps Poway Parkway @ Tech Center Drive at 9am with KSU at 9:10. Google Maps says it’s 1:21 (65 miles) to Kendall’s. They have a good variety of options on the breakfast menu.
