This gorgeous patient came in for a full eyelid refresh, hoping to look "more like [her]self again". After careful exam and discussion, she underwent an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, bilateral lateral browplasty with scar hidden just above the eyebrow hair to help the lateral hooding, and lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, skin pinch and lower eyelid laser resurfacing under comfortable general anesthesia.

This sweet patient came in with concerns about dark circles hoping for more rested appearing eyes. She had tried filler in the past but felt it no longer helped. We discussed lower bleph via an internal approach with fat repositioning. By using the excess fat under the eyes to help volumize the midface, a smooth junction between the eyelid & cheek is created & a more youthful eye is maintained. We also did laser resurfacing under the eyes, which is the cherry on top!

This gorgeous patient came in with asymmetrical eyelids, hoping for a refresh. You can see her left upper eyelid was much more droopy than the right, and she was hoping to achieve more open eyes and greater symmetry.

11/06/2024

This sweet patient first noticed some missing lashes on her upper eyelid on one side. We performed a preliminary biopsy which demonstrated squamous cell carcinoma. I then referred her to a MOHS surgeon who was able to successfully remove all of the cancer and she presented back to me for reconstruction. I then performed an upper eyelid reconstruction. She is pictured here just 1 month out and couldn't be more pleased with the result - like nothing ever happened!

This kind patient came in with concern for swelling in the eyelids. After exam he was found to have enlarged lacrimal glands with gland prolapse causing fullness in the upper outer eyelid. We ultimately performed tear (laceimal) gland biopsies with repositioning of the gland back into the home deeper in the eyelid. He note only can see better but biopsies were reassuring!

A fair percentage of men that come in to see me are worried that surgery may feminize them. After discussing options and showing before and after photos this patient was excited to undergo an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Not only can he see better but he looks younger and more relaxed!
