I used to think weight loss meant being perfect with my diet..

Eating clean 24/7.
Saying no to sweets.
Avoiding foods I loved.

And honestly? That’s exactly what kept me stuck.

Because every time I had something “off plan,” I felt like I ruined everything.

Which usually turned into me spiraling and eating all the other “off plan” foods thinking:
“Well I already messed up. I’ll just start over Monday.”

Over and over again.

What finally changed was learning about macros and realizing I didn’t have to be so restrictive to make progress.

Instead of cutting out foods I love, I learned how to include them in moderation while still working toward my goals.

And that’s what made weight loss feel sustainable for the first time.

No more all-or-nothing mindset.
No more feeling guilty for eating dessert.
No more constantly starting over.

Just balance, consistency, and a way of eating I could actually stick to.

If you’re tired of feeling like you have to be perfect to lose weight, I have a free macros training that breaks down how to make progress without cutting out the foods you love.

Comment TRAINING and I’ll send it your way!

For the longest time, the idea of eating more felt scary.

I thought if I even slightly increased my food,
I’d gain weight instantly.

So I did what most of us do.
I ate less.

Skipped meals, cut calories, avoided foods I loved...

And for a little while, it worked.
Until it didn’t.

Because eating that little wasn’t sustainable.

I was constantly thinking about food, dealing with cravings, and overeating because I just couldn’t keep it up.

And the more I tried to “get back on track", the less I felt like I could actually eat without gaining weight.

Because when you keep under-eating, your body adapts.

So now you’re stuck eating even less just to see the same results. And that’s exhausting.

Learning how to eat more in a way that actually supports your body is what changed everything for me.

More balanced meals.
Less cravings.
And progress that actually felt sustainable.

This is exactly what I help women do in my 1:1 coaching so they can stop starting over and feel confident in how they’re fueling their body.

If eating more still feels scary, I get it.
I was there too.
But it might be the missing piece.

If this sounds like you, DM me ‘FOOD’ for a free nutrition audit to help you figure out what eating more should actually look like for you.

If you’ve ever felt like weight loss just suddenly stopped working, this could be why.

Metabolic adaptation isn't your body being broken...

It's just your body being more efficient after being in a calorie deficit for a long time.

A calorie deficit is meant to be temporary, and knowing when and how to shift out it matters. (This is a big part of what I coach my clients through btw)

Hope this helps simplify metabolic adaptation and why you might be stuck eating low calories without progress.

You’re probably thinking “Why would I eat more if I’m trying to lose weight?”

And I get it because I used to think the same.

Because everything we’ve been taught says eat less, weigh less.

So when you’ve been stuck eating 1,400–1,500 calories with no progress, it feels like the only option is to cut even lower.

And for a lot of the women I work with, that’s exactly what they’ve done for years

But at some point, your body stops responding the way it used to because it adapted.

The next step isn’t eating less…
it’s taking a different approach entirely.

This is the part most online calculators and generic plans miss.

If you feel stuck eating as little as possible just to try to lose weight, send me “MACROS” and I’ll help you figure out what your body actually needs.

Most women think their bodies are “broken” when weight creeps up in their 30s or 40s.

But that’s not true!

My client in her early 40s thought the same thing… she was suddenly gaining weight without changing anything and almost went the GLP-1 route thinking that may be the only option.

But she just needed the right plan & strategy for her body. Nothing extreme.

And now she’s down 10 pounds, more confident, and feeling comfortable in her skin again.

I want to be clear; there’s absolutely nothing wrong with choosing GLP-1s. They can be helpful for some people.

But I also see so many women thinking their bodies are “broken” or that’s the only option for weight loss when that’s not true!

Sustainable results are possible without thinking your body has failed you. You just need the right strategy for YOUR body. 🤍

DM "STRATEGY" if you want to chat about what this could look like for you.

Protein is having a moment in the grocery store right now…

and I love that more people are paying attention to it.

But just because something says “protein” on the label doesn’t always mean it’s the most effective way to hit your protein goals.

Many of these products only provide a small amount of protein compared to the calories and carbs/fats they contain.

Which means if you rely on them as your main protein sources, it can actually make it harder to hit your protein goals without unintentionally increasing calories, and that can stall progress.

That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy these foods; they can absolutely be part of your day.

But most of your protein should come from protein-dominant foods so you can hit your goals while staying within your calorie goals.

Want a simple list of high-protein foods that make it easier to reach your protein goal? Comment “PROTEIN” and I’ll send it to you.
