That was difficult, and the first attempt was a total failure! 😂 But it was amazing and humbling to be able to surf again! It was a very emotional walk along the beach when I felt a rush of gratitude to God for being alive and able to even attempt this again so soon, considering a couple months ago the doctors were saying I'd most likely need surgery and wouldn't be able to surf for about a year. Thanks so much to my fiance @simhapinto for her support and love. Let's start this Monday off with an exercise that can help promote increased glute strength as well as pelvic stability! We call them Glute Medius Shuffles! Our Lead Exercise Specialist, Kyle, demonstrates the movement of the exercise as well as a little dance to the Cupid Shuffle after! 'Like' this post if you love his groovy dance moves and want more!
Form for exercise:
Keep a slight bend in the knees and sit your bottom back. Core should be engaged and toes facing forward!
