A whirlwind of birthday festivities for our sweet 6️⃣ year old ! You love dancing, dressing up like princesses, drawing, eating sushi, cuddling, laughing, and being with your brother. We love you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was hesitant to let them see the show because it’s so dark and heavy at times, but convinced me that it was more important for them to see me in my element, and to have them see me in this production as a core memory. I think he was right!! They were ANGELS, and totally loved it. I hope I made them proud ;)

First day of Kindergarten & 4th grade for Siena & Chase! They had their orientations on Friday, and today was the big day.

May the record show that they were up, dressed, and ready to go a full 20 minutes early. So now we know it’s possible!!

Back from sleep away camp with and he had the time of his life!!! So grateful that he got his opportunity to do this… he’s already saving his allowance to go back next summer ✌🏼🌲⛺️

Reflecting on patience today...

Overall, I think I’m doing pretty well with patience, but there are two things that test me almost every time: 1) technology/ internet issues and 2) whining kids. 🙈 That makes this online schooling thing extra special ;)

What helps me? Deep breaths and interrupting the tension I feel when I get impatient by doing something drastically different with my body.

What about you? What things are testing your patience right now, and what do you do to fix it? 🤷🏼‍♀️

First and last trip to the beach of the summer, before virtual school starts on Monday. They had a blast, and it felt good to venture out of our bunker ;)
