Hattie's House H3O Foundation Help Hattie Help Others Hattie's House Help Hattie Help Others (H3O) serves families in need in San Diego, Rosarito, and Tijuana

H3O Foundation (Help Hattie Help Others) was started in memory of our daughter Hattie who passed from our arms into Jesus’ at the age of 10 months. We left the hospital that morning desiring to give back to all who had served us with such gentleness. We started giving back by serving in Mexico ten years ago when our oldest daughter, Emma, was five. We chose to come alongside a little village churc

h in Rosarito once a month. We provide a craft and feed breakfast to between 75 and 150 kids each trip. We expand this involvement with the church each Christmas by distributing 750 to 1000 shoeboxes to families and kids who would not have the opportunity to have a Christmas gift. This is a great way for families around North County to purchase and help build boxes that contain personal hygiene items, school supplies, crafts and small toys. This small box of love provides an amazing opportunity to share hope with the families where it seems hopeless during Christmas. In addition, weekly we move thousands of pounds of food across the Mexican border. We currently pick up 12 cases of organic oranges, 12 cases of eggs, bread from Panera, staples items such as cereal and rice, as well as fruit and vegetables and stage it in a home in Chula Vista. During the week, five different missionaries cross the border to pick up provisions and distribute to over 13 different ministries. We help provide for the shut-ins, the canal people, children of prostitutes, elderly, the orphanages, and many others. We are truly meeting the needs of those that have been forgotten. H3O Foundation welcomes any donations as well as the gift of time. We would love to have you join us on our monthly trips, help us pack shoeboxes, or assist us in the movement of food.
