Dear Future Client,

It can be intimidating to initiate therapy. It can feel scary to talk about things you’ve been avoiding or to say certain things out loud.

Therapy requires a lot of vulnerability—we are fully aware. It’s hard. We also know how painful it can be to not feel comfortable in your own skin, to move through the world after painful events and experiences, to struggle in your relationships, and to feel held back by a lack of confidence or the ability to freely pursue the things you desire.

Knowing this, we promise to honor your needs and move at a pace that feels right for you. We will take our time getting to know you and understanding your story.

We promise to be mindful of your background, your lived experiences, and the differences between us. We will also acknowledge the systems at play that may contribute to some of the challenges you are facing.

We promise to show up as humans, not just therapists—to sit with you in the uncomfortable moments, not rush you out of them, and to be a consistent source of support along the way.

We promise to offer support and ideas that may bring you relief, to highlight your wins—even the “small” ones—and to create space for laughter and levity along the way.

We want therapy to feel like a landing pad—a place of support and steadiness, not another hurdle or added stressor.

With love and gratitude,
The Cove Team

Still finding yourself stuck in the same relationship patterns or regularly feel insecure and struggle with your self-worth —no matter how much insight you have?

Or maybe you have tried traditional talk therapy and you just can’t seem to get the relief you need.

If you’re navigating complex trauma or attachment wounds, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

It’s because your nervous system learned how to adapt to what you’ve been through and your body and mind are both moving through the present like you’re still in the past.

At Cove Counseling Group, we help adults across California work through:

• complex trauma
• attachment challenges (anxious, avoidant, or a combined both)
• emotional abuse recovery and support for individuals navigating or healing from intimate partner violence
• relationship patterns that keep repeating
• self-esteem struggles and deep rooted insecurities

This is the work.

Unlearning the deep-rooted beliefs that told you you were “too much.”

Rewriting the stories that have kept you small.

So you can feel confident, take up space, and create relationships that actually feel fulfilling.

In our work together, we explore how complex trauma, attachment wounds, childhood experiences, emotional abuse, and intimate partner violence have shaped the way you see yourself and others.

And we begin to gently shift those beliefs and narratives—so you can move through the world with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

And guess what? We are accepting new clients !
