Every year I facilitate a 12-week online group based on the book "The Artist's Way." I feel like this year it might be needed more than ever. We begin Sunday, Jan. 18. Link in the comments

I think AI is great for clients to get certain types of support between sessions. As the story says, though:
"Chatbots like ChatGPT should not replace therapists because of their dangerous tendencies to express stigma, encourage delusions and respond inappropriately in critical moments."

Here is a recording I made of the Light Stream exercise from Francine Shapiro, the founder of EMDR. Hoping it helps you connect with whatever you need most at this time.

The Light Stream exercise was created by Francine Shapiro, the founder of EMDR, in 2001. I recorded a version of this exercise recently and am happy to share it here — I hope it helps bring you a...

The next 12-week, online Artist's Way Workshop begins in January. Early-bird pricing ends in a week, and payment plans are available at any time (just drop me a note). Meanwhile, I wrote a blog post about my very first experience with the book and how it has changed my life.

I walked into the small, dimly lit office. A few other people had already arrived, and I noticed I was the youngest by far. I was 22 and this was my first experience at an Artist's Way group. As the...

‘Only Connect...’

If you feel disconnected from what you love in life, there is hope. Creative people in particular feel a need to commune with life through art. When that’s missing, life can feel dull, boring, and repetitive. Therapy can help you break through the fog and find vibrancy and purpose.
