To notice, witness and care about another persons life is an act of love. It is the kind of love I love and long for. And I believe it is what many/most of us are seeking online. We want our lives to be noticed, witnessed and cared about. In a society full of isolation, hyper independence & capitalism - many don’t have the opportunity for their lives to be witnessed by another in a way that is meaningful. I think we come onto social media to fill that void.

So many spiritual & mystical experiences, qualities & abilities can also be explained from the lens of being autistic & ADHD & having CPTSD. I’ve spent a lot time delving into spirituality because it offered an explanation & exploration of myself & my lived experience before I understood my neurotype. The more I learn of systems, modalities & practices as well as my neurotype - the more I see that anything can be explained through any lens. It all a matter of perspective & utility, imo.

I spent years full of self neglect, betrayal & punishment. I then spent years feeling, healing, rewiring, & forgiving. I still do & will always remember the night I made a vow to myself to not speak another mean or unkind thing to myself. I had done a lot of work on myself before that point but that was the night I began to really be safety for myself. & that’s f*king huge. I would have never believed I would get there. ***r
