About Sarah

Sarah Epstein is a mother of 2 beautiful children and a wife to a fabulously supportive husband. Sarah has always been drawn to children, babies in-particular, but didn't realize how much she was drawn to them, until she had my own.

When Sarah’s daughter was born, via cesarean, she didn't realize how much her village of extra help was necessary. After Sarah and her husband had brought their daughter home, the exhaustion, soreness, tears and hormone surges, were in full force all while while trying to find their groove with their new baby. Somehow, being in uncharted territory, a sense of peace and confidence washed over Sarah and she remembers saying to herself, "I've got this, I don’t know how, but I do!”

While all this new change in their lives is happening, Sarah felt as though nurturing and caring for a baby was a natural calling for her and it was something she found pride in being really good at for the first time in her life. The feeling of confidence and having the ability to care for her daughter and then eventually her son with such a calmness, she knew was something she wanted to share with others, but how? In 2014, Sarah made the decision to begin her journey to becoming a Postpartum Doula.

In 2015, Sarah began my certification program with Birth Arts International and continues her education today, 4 years later.
