📣 The AACAP has issued a new policy — “Expanding Access to Care for the Autism Community” — calling on clinicians, policymakers, and insurers to broaden access to timely, evidence‐based treatments for individuals with autism and related developmental disorders. Music and art give students a wonderful way to express their feelings. After playing the rain drum, this student spontaneously shared, “Happy!” Then, during art, he laughed joyfully while exploring the blue paint. 💙

These shared activities create authentic opportunities to connect, build relationships, and form lasting memories — all of which are vital for regulation, emotional health and well-being. Consider sharing art, music, or movement with your child or student this week! Let us know how it went!

TAG use a naturalistic, collaborative, compassionate approach that supports meaningful growth! We focus on what eaxh client can do and support them to keep growing at their own pace. We use activities such as gardening, pretending to lie on the beach as we listen to ocean sounds, and tactile art that are meaningful to the client tio support goals like self-advocacy, making choices,, eye gaze shifting, and regukatuon We love working with parents and other caregivers in a team approach. Most importantly we love to have fun as we support one anothers growth journey. (parent has requested we share her son’s story to inspire others)l
