For those of you who are interested in learning more about how Batu Biologics got started, we have put together the following introductory video for our followers.

The name "Batu" originates from co-founder Dr. Thomas Ichim's longstanding personal battle with cancer. His mother, Florica Batu Ichim, passed away from leukemia in 2010. The Company, Batu Biologics, was formed in her memory to continue the research of the placenta with the goal of discovering natural anti-cancer compounds.
