We’re excited to welcome Stephany Esparza to the Valley Family Center team as one of our newest Marriage and Family Therapist Trainees! Stephany is currently pursuing her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Northridge, and brings a heartfelt passion for supporting the Latinx community through culturally responsive and compassionate care. As a Spanish speaker, Stephany is dedicated to creating accessible, inclusive spaces for Spanish-speaking clients—while also deeply committed to working with individuals and families from all backgrounds and communities.

Farnaz joined Valley Family Center in 2023 as an intern and has been instrumental in boosting our Social Media presence. She has consistently posted multiple times a week, created videos for fundraisers, and shared valuable mental health tips with the community. We are deeply grateful for her contributions to the Center and our clients. We wish her continued success! We'll miss you, Farnaz!!!

We’re thrilled to introduce Ashley McManus, our newest Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee at Valley Family Center! 💚 Ashley is completing her MA in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University with a concentration in trauma. Ashley believes change can be playful and profound. Therapy can include tough reflections and genuine moments of laughter! She trusts your innate resilience and designs therapy to unlock the story you want to tell—and live. She loves working with solution-focused and narrative therapy to help reframe stories and amplify personal strengths. As a confident q***r woman, she’s also deeply committed to creating an LGBTQ+-affirming space for q***r-identified clients and their families.

📌VFC’s new emotional and coping skills building group for teens ages 15-17 will start very soon.

🔷The resilient teens group is an in-person support group for teens aiming to provide a safe space to communicate, collaborate, congregate and discuss important issues facing them today.

🔹This group class is facilitated by a trained clinician.
