Zola Healthcare (Hospice)

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Building and developing a business development team.

Our guidelines are that a minimum of 80% of the team consists of clinical liaisons.

Non clinical reps will only be considered if they have a current book of business.

To become a member of our business development team, the process is challenging and only a few will make it.

Our current average is: 3 out of every 13 experienced hospice consultants who apply, meet our criteria.

Generate business by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, appropriate special interest groups, discharge planners, nursing home professionals, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources
Prepare and conduct calls and In-service presentations to potential referral sources
Participate in community and organizational programs, make presentations, and join as a member where appropriate.

Lead team to achieve ADC and Admit Goals.

Recruit, hire and train team.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)
Clinician (preferred).

Professional Experience:

Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or another healthcare environment (i.e. Home Health, Long Term Care, Pharmaceuticals).

Must be willing to travel locally.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-starter with the ability to monitor team referral activity and collaborate with Admission Manager.

Able to maintain an organized approach to territory management and work with limited supervision.

Merit increases to base salary are uncapped.

As a Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) you will:

Supervise day-to-day clinical operations in collaboration with the Hospice Branch Manager.

Ensure plans of care are reviewed and assessed for appropriateness of clinical content frequency goals and referrals to other disciplines.

Ensure clinical compliance with company standards which exceed regulatory mandates/guidelines.

Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards.
Commit to the values and missions of Zola Healthcare.

The ability to provide clinical education monthly in addition to the resources the company has and create and maintain structure among members of the interdisciplinary team.

Promote a culture of learning and excellence in providing the best customer service experience for the patients, families, and referral sources we serve.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred, in nursing with current licensure to practice nursing in the state of agency operation

Minimum three (3) years experience, within the last five (5) years, in a hospice agency with at least one (1) years of which was in a supervisory or administrative role.

Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification.

Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) preferred.

Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with the state and/or organization requirements and is good working order.

What’s the difference between a job and a meaningful, rewarding career? The people you serve. As a Hospice Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of the branch which includes but is not limited to:

Monitoring multiple budgets, working in collaboration with clinical leadership to make choices that lead to positive patient experiences, overseeing the business development team and ensuring that collaboration with the clinical team and sales is in alignment to one another. You will also oversee multiple department heads and ensure compliance with company standards which exceed all regulatory mandates. A Hospice Branch Manager also implements, and evaluates all aspects of operations as it pertains to fiscal responsibility and management of profits and loss statements. He/she recruits and trains team members, has a direct supervisory responsibility for team members in order to create and maintain a highly functioning team environment, maintains high customer satisfaction, and ensures a quality-oriented workforce.

Increases to your base salary is uncapped and depends on set factors being met which will be provided to you.

Required:

Ability to pass a drug screen, physical and TB requirements and pass a criminal background check.

Must have a minimum of 5 yrs. Of experience in an operations role

MBA not required but critical thinking and compassion is.

This is not a 9-5 role. Weekends and after hrs. time may be needed including holidays.
