We write to inform you that server work for the One Card systems was performed at 8:00am – 9:00am. Hilltop campus locations experienced intermittent access outages which saw some impact to the community. We apologize for the inconvenience and write to advise campus is healthy and functioning as normal.

Dear USF Community,

Earlier today, Wednesday, Oct. 30th, the USF Department of Public Safety was notified by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) of a Grand Theft incident that took place on Masonic Ave & Geary/O’Farrell Blvd involving a USF student who was waiting for the Muni bus. The subject grabbed the student’s cellphone and ran southbound towards Anza Street. There were
no reported physical injuries as it relates to our student.

The San Francisco Police Department is actively investigating the incident and USF officers have increased patrols in the area. We encourage all community members to remain vigilant and
immediately report any suspicious activity to the USF Department of Public Safety at (415) 422- 4201. For emergencies, please call (415) 422-2911. For crime prevention resources, visit our Public Safety website.

For additional support, the USF Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available for students’ seeking assistance at (415) 422-6352. If you feel unsafe, consider using the USF
Shuttle Service. More information about the shuttle service, including schedules, can be found
on myUSF.

Public Safety Crime Bulletin 08/19/2024

Dear USF Community,

We write to inform you that at 0910 hours this morning (Monday, 08/19/2024), an altercation took place at the edge of campus on the street sidewalk/Fulton cross walk, located on Fulton & Cole Street. The altercation, involved two non-affiliated subjects, where a verbal disagreement took place resulting in one of the persons brandishing a knife, then leaving the area heading southbound down Cole Street away from campus. No persons were reported as physically hurt. The department of Public Safety has informed the San Francisco Police Department of the incident and both departments are monitoring the area moving forward.

If you are concerned about travel in the immediate area, please contact Public Safety at (415) 422-4201 for a safety shuttle or es**rt. To schedule in-person workshops about safety within the city and at USF, please email Public Safety at dispatcher@usfca.edu.

USF officers are conducting extra patrols. If you have information about a crime committed on or near campus, please report it to Public Safety at (415) 422-4201 or dispatcher@usfca.edu, or to the Office of the Dean of Students at (415) 422-5330 or deanofstudents@usfca.edu.

We remind the community that Public Safety patrol services operate 24/7 year-round and are here to ensure that the community’s needs are met.
