Notes on receiving healing modalities- if your practitioner is against your existence, say anti-trans or LGBTQ, obviously it’s not a safe match for you. If you reach out in a safe way about an issue to a mediator or healer and they blatantly ignore or begin attacking you, they are showing you they’re not in alignment with healing.

When it comes down to it, healing and medicine are an Art and Science. Hippocrate’s oath exists for a reason, as does the one below. Many humans simply haven’t received true healing themselves and aren’t going to be capable of providing it for you, whether it’s accurate scientific information or merely holding space for your illness or experience. Move on. The real ones do really exist. It’s there. You have to be able to say- not this, not this- that. That’s it. You deserve that depth and it may not be easy to find. Keep looking.
