🍑 The Power of Peaches 🍑

Peaches are more than just a delightful summer snack; they are a treasure in traditional Chinese medicine! Known for their sweet and slightly sour flavor, peaches nourish the body and are believed to have a cooling effect, helping to reduce heat. They also moisten dryness, particularly in the lungs and intestines.

The seeds, referred to as Tao Ren (桃仁), hold significant value in TCM. Celebrated for their impressive health benefits, Tao Ren is often used to dispel blood stasis and nourish the body, making it especially beneficial for women’s health.

Benefits of Tao Ren:

Promotes Blood Circulation: Tao Ren invigorates blood flow, crucial for overall wellness.

Alleviates Dryness: Their cooling properties help moisten dryness in the lungs and intestines.

Supports Digestive Health: They aid digestion and can relieve constipation.
Tao Ren and Hong Hua

In my practice, I frequently pair Tao Ren with Hong Hua (红花, safflower). This powerful combination is particularly effective for:

Regulating Menstrual Health: Together, they enhance blood circulation and alleviate menstrual pain, making it an ideal choice for menstrual disorders.

Enhancing Blood Flow: The synergy between these herbs invigorates blood flow, essential for reproductive health and overall vitality.
Supporting Emotional Balance: Improved circulation positively affects mood and emotional well-being, especially during hormonal changes.

🌿✨ Embrace the healing benefits of this summer stone fruit!

✨ Discover the Power of The Buddha’s Triangle Acupuncture Treatment ✨

This unique approach utilizes three key points:

🌟 Lung 9: The source and Earth point of the Lung meridian, connecting us to heaven, Earth, and our breath. It helps lift us during heavy sadness, alleviates grief-related depression, and rejuvenates our spirit when we feel unstable. Known as the “Supreme Abyss,” it soothes the fear of falling into the void.

🌟 Heart 7: A wonderful point for calming the mind and easing symptoms like anxiety, worry, panic attacks, and heart palpitations. As the source point of the Heart channel, it regulates heart conditions and enhances our connection to our spirit. This point, meaning “Spirit Gate,” opens the door to our emotions and inner self.

🌟 Pericardium 6: This point bridges our external experiences with our inner truth, helping us access our best selves. It’s beneficial during manic episodes, memory issues, or feelings of anxiety and grief. Known as the “Inner Gate,” it helps us balance our emotions, allowing us to connect deeply with our hearts.

When combined, these powerful points calm the central nervous system, promote relaxation, and empower you to draw strength from within to overcome life’s challenges. 💖

Did you know that daisies, dahlias, and chrysanthemums share the same composite flower structure? What looks like one bloom is actually hundreds of tiny florets! I’ve always liked them for this reason.

As the vibrant days of summer unfold, I find myself at the flower market or farmers market, mesmerized by the stunning dahlias in full bloom. Their unique colors are nothing short of breathtaking! From soft blush pinks that whisper romance to deep, intense burgundies that command attention, each variety tells its own story. They hold a special place in my heart. My wedding bouquet was filled with these gorgeous dahlias, and every time I see them, I’m transported back to that sweet day. 💕

These three flowers are like siblings in the same giant floral family:

🌼 Daisy is the minimalist—simple yet charming, bringing a sense of purity and joy.
🌸 Dahlia is the flamboyant show-off, with bold colors and intricate shapes that celebrate individuality.
🌺 Chrysanthemum embodies the elegant traditionalist, symbolizing respect and honor with its rich history.
As a Chinese medicine herbalist, I use chrysanthemums frequently in my formulas for their numerous benefits:

Cooling properties: Perfect for reducing heat and inflammation in the body.
Vision support: Often used to help improve eyesight and alleviate eye strain.
Calming effects: Known to promote relaxation and reduce stress.
I hope to enjoy these beautiful flowers as much as I do during the summer! 🌷💖

We celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival (端午节) to make Zongzi (粽子).

Once upon a time, the ancient Chinese poet Qu Yuan drowned himself in the river to protest corruption in his government. Locals threw rice dumplings (zongzi) into the river to prevent fish and evil spirits from devouring his body. Happy Dragon 🐉 Boat 🛶 festival! #
