Today is Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action! Eliminating cervical cancer is within reach because the tools to prevent it already exist, and staying up to date on screening is one of the most effective steps.

Here’s why:
• About 1 in 4 women in the United States are not up to date on cervical cancer screening.
• More than 95 percent of cervical cancer cases are caused by high-risk variants of human papillomavirus (HPV).
• When high-risk HPV is identified early and treated or monitored appropriately, cervical cancer can be almost completely prevented.

Screening is a simple step that protects your health and supports the women around you. Stay current on your screening, and encourage your sisters, friends, mothers, and women in your life to do the same. Together we can move closer to making cervical cancer history.

Accuracy 🤝 Teal Health
Our lab only processes your sample if it contains enough cells to produce accurate results. If not, the sample is flagged and rejected rather than returning a false negative. In other words, your test is only run when it meets strict quality standards. Aka - you can’t mess it up.
