I hated the gym. But now I lift 4-5x/week and LOVE IT.
If you're a woman over 40 and "not a gym person", find a way that works for YOU. You can start at home with bands and hand weights. Something is better than nothing. As you gain confidence, you'll feel more comfortable at the gym. This is exactly what I did.
