There is a particular exhaustion that comes not from doing too much — but from explaining too much.

Explaining your grief. Explaining your boundaries.
Explaining why something mattered. Explaining why you are not “over it” yet.

At some point, explanation becomes negotiation. And negotiation begins to erode dignity.

For a long time, I believed that if I communicated clearly enough, softly enough, carefully enough…

I would be met.

But some spaces do not meet you in your truth — they meet you in your willingness to translate it.

And over time, I began to see: I was not being understood. I was being negotiated.

Some of what we release is not only ours — it is carried through generations.

And there comes a moment when you choose a different inheritance.

This reflection is part of The Rose Letters — a space for deeper writings on grief, boundaries, and truth.

There are places that hold us without asking anything in return.

For two and a half years, I lived among the redwoods.
They stood just beyond my balcony — guardians of stillness, rooted in a rhythm older than memory.

In their presence, I learned that home is not only walls and ceilings.
It is relationship.
It is reciprocity.
It is listening.

There were moments I came to the trees when I did not feel held elsewhere —
and still, they held me.
Without question. Without condition.

Before I left, I gathered dried flowers from my altar and offered them back to the soil in gratitude. I took a few fallen seeds as a quiet promise that what held me would continue.

The land we love never truly leaves us.
It moves through us — shaping the way we inhabit the world,
and reminding us where we belong — even when we are not met elsewhere.

This reflection is part of The Rose Letters — a space for longer writings on healing, belonging, and devotion.

For the past year, I’ve been writing through grief, sovereignty, boundaries, lineage, and the quiet work of becoming.

Some of those reflections began as Instagram posts — including the Breaking the Silence series many of you resonated with.

But some stories require more space.

The Rose Letters is the home for that space.

These are not motivational posts.
They are devotional essays.
Rooted in lived experience. Grounded in spiritual integrity. Written for those walking through grief, voice reclamation, and sacred self-respect.

Several letters are already live.

If this space has ever supported you, I invite you to read — and to join my newsletter so each new letter arrives directly to you.

As we move toward the Lunar Eclipse next week, themes of release and refinement begin to surface.

Eclipses illuminate what’s unsustainable. They bring clarity to what we’ve been over-carrying. They ask us to soften what no longer fits.

On March 7th, we gather for an intimate Breathwork, Reiki & Sound Healing Journey in San Jose.

I’m honored to be joined by guest breathwork facilitator Dharma, who will guide the breathwork portion of the evening as we regulate the nervous system and gently integrate whatever this eclipse season reveals.

As the Lunar Eclipse approaches, what’s coming into focus?

✨What am I ready to release?
✨What needs simplification — not more effort?

Breath to open.
Sound to settle.
Reiki to steady.

A space to integrate and return to grounded alignment.

Some bonds are only meant to hold for a season.
And when it’s time to let go —
the soul knows.

I’m in the final phase of letting go— not just of one relationship, but of every thread I’ve been holding alone.

As the Year of the Snake comes to a close, I’m noticing how much this year has asked of me: to see clearly, to stop reaching, to release without drama, to trust when a season has finished.

Some connections were real. Some love was sincere. And still—not everything is meant to continue.

Winter doesn’t ask us to explain ourselves. It asks us to be honest.

I no longer chase connection that won’t meet me. I no longer perform closeness that isn’t real. I no longer hold threads that aren’t woven in return.

What remains is quieter—but truer. And what comes next will not require effort to stay.

As this lunar year closes, I’m standing bare—and at peace. Listening for what wants to arrive next, not through force, but through alignment. 🐍🌑

On my solar return, under the fire of Lohri,

I honor my Mother.
Lohri is a festival of warmth, continuity, and life carried forward —
through the hearth, through lineage, through the womb.

It feels especially meaningful to mark this day in her remembrance,
as I was born on Lohri morning,
and she carried me into life with so much care and devotion.
This is my second birthday without her.

A year and five months since she left her physical form.
Last year marked a tender threshold for me, one that asked for inwardness and care.

This year feels different.
This year, I’m honoring her by honoring my life —
by living with deeper gratitude, presence, and intention,
by allowing joy and sweetness to return where they can,
even as her physical presence and smile are deeply missed.
Her blessings are still felt.
Her love still guides me.
And I carry her forward in how I live.
I love you and miss you every day, Mom
Thank you for my life. 🤍🔥

As we approach a weekend so often tied to complex histories, let us gather in a different way.

Let us give thanks — not for a holiday — but for the breath in our lungs, for the ancestors who walked before us, and for the Indigenous peoples who continue to be the original caretakers of this land.
Let us remember our connection to the Earth, to the sacred waters, and to one another.

Join me for a Gratitude Sound Healing Ceremony at Harbin Hot Springs — a soft and spacious offering held in the Garden Pavilion.
We’ll attune to the healing vibrations of chimes, gong, harmonium, and voice — allowing the waters, the earth, and the sound to recalibrate our hearts.

This is a public offering — open to all Harbin guests. Entry into Harbin is required. Come as you are. Bring your prayers. Bring your presence. Let gratitude be your ceremony.

🌹 Retreat Update – Welcoming Romona 🌹

A few final spaces remain ✨

I’m so honored to share that my dear sister and fellow guide, Romona, will be joining me in co-facilitating our upcoming women’s retreat at Harbin.

Romona is a story weaver and soul guide…

A woman who knows how to listen to what lives beneath the surface.
With over 20 years of experience as a therapist — and a growing devotion to the mystical, intuitive realms — she walks with those crossing thresholds.
Just as she is crossing one herself.

It feels so aligned to have her join this sacred container — where we’ll honor grief, reclaim voice, and return to the waters of our own becoming.

Together, we’ll hold a soft, strong sanctuary of movement, ritual, and sound — including a closing sound healing ceremony open to the Harbin community.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge to join us…

✨ This is your invitation.
Just a few spots remain.

Under the alchemy of the Scorpio New Moon, we are invited to shed our old skins and remember the light that lives within the dark.

This is the season of surrender and sacred renewal — where endings soften into beginnings and every release becomes a prayer for rebirth.

You are the flame and the water.
The Phoenix and the womb that births her.

May this moon guide us to let go with grace, rise with love, and trust the mystery that is unfolding through us. 🌑💧🔥

We’re moving through a sacred passage — from the thinning veils of Samhain, through the remembrance of Día de los Mu***os, and into next week’s Full Moon in Ta**us. 🕯️

This is a time when the Earth slows… and so do we. A time to honor our ancestors not just through prayer, but through presence — to feel the living lineage of breath, bone, and body that connects us to them.

Our next Wild Womb Temple Circle will invite you to come home to your body — to soften into stillness, to listen to the wisdom beneath the noise, and to release what your body no longer needs to hold.

Through guided meditation, ritual, and reflection, we’ll explore what it means to live fully embodied — to find peace in simplicity, beauty in slowness, and nourishment in the soil of what we’ve let go. 🌹

Bring a candle, your journal, and a small bowl of soil or plant to ground with.

May this moon remind you: Your body is the temple. Your breath is the prayer. Your release is sacred.

As the veil thins for Samhain and Día de los Mu***os, we enter a sacred window of remembrance — when the presence of our ancestors feels near, and their wisdom moves through us like breath.

This threshold invites both reflection and renewal: to honor what came before while awakening the healer within.
Just beyond these nights of communion, we gather for the final Reiki Trainings of the year —

🌿 Reiki I — November 2nd (initiation into self-healing + remembrance)

💫 Reiki II — November 8th (deepening into distance + emotional healing)

Reiki is, at its essence, ancestral work — a practice of remembering the universal life force that flows through every lineage, every body, every moment of aliveness.

✨ Between the ancestral gateways and the Ta**us Full Moon, the energy supports release, restoration, and remembrance. If you’ve been feeling the quiet nudge to begin—or to deepen—trust the call. The next cycle will open in 2026.

What is Reiki?

"Reiki" (pronounced "ray-key"), is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life Energy." Reiki is an ancient healing art which channels energy through the palms of the hands. This vital life energy activates the natural healing processes, detoxifies the body of both physical and emotional blockages, and nurtures a state of deep relaxation and calmness.

Reiki treats all the vital organs, the head, the torso, the back, and the feet. At the beginning of the session, I will identify your specific physical, emotional, or mental concerns which you would like to focus on during your Reiki treatment. Reiki treatments work in conjunction with conventional medicine and enhance the benefits of psychotherapy, surgery, and prescription medication.

A Reiki treatment gives you a sense of warm energy surrounding your body as well as flowing through you. When undergoing a treatment, you are treated as a whole - meaning your mind, body, and spirit. A sense of well being and peace is felt with many remarkable results. Some people experience immediate release of pain or improvement in physical symptoms, while others feel a release of tension, repressed emotions and feelings. After a session you feel at peace.

Reiki can be used to help specific health issues and pain. You will relax by lying on a comfortable healing table listening to soft music while I perform your Reiki session. The client is fully clothed and I begin with what energy needs to be moved out of your space. Reiki knows where to go to heal parts of the body, emotions, mind, spirit, and energy field.
