Thank you for advocating on behalf of millions of individuals who wish to build a family on their terms👏👏👏

If the bill passes, it would allow patients to retain rights to their reproductive genetic material and protect physicians who provide assisted fertility services. The legislation also seeks to allow the Department of Justice to pursue civil action against any state that attempts to restrict access to IVF and other fertility services.

Thinking about building a family one day? If so, you might not have considered talking with your doctor about your goals.

Teens and people with te**es are often kept out of conversations about family building or fertility care. In the past, fertility care has been considered a “female” or maternal concern. We now know this is wrong. Research has shown that lifestyle choices that affect s***m health can have profound effects on fertility and pregnancy outcomes for a family. We also know that many conditions that worsen in adulthood could be prevented or improved with care in the younger, adolescent years.

At Frame, we encourage everyone to think about their future and to take a proactive approach to family building. In her latest blog, Clinical Advisor to Frame , helps to lift some of the fog around fertility care and shares her perspective on why it's so important to talk to your doctor before trying to conceive.

The short answer is, yes. Diet matters. While the research continues to evolve on this topic, studies have found that diet not only improves fertility in males and females, but also improves the chances of successful pregnancy in individuals actively undergoing fertility treatment. What you put in your body impacts inflammatory responses, metabolic health, hormone levels, and therefore overall reproductive health. But again, there is a lot of ongoing research and it’s not always super clear or straightforward.

To learn more about this topic, head to the Frame blog where Liz Cary, MBA, MSN, RN, connects the dots between nutrition and fertility and shares some actionable tips to get you started on your family building journey.

Why is it important to talk with your doctor before trying to conceive? OBGYN and Clinical Advisor to Frame, Dr. Marieme Mbaye answers this question and shares more about why she supports Frame in our latest blog post.

For most people, fertility care is not something that becomes a concern until they are about to start trying to get pregnant or are already trying. While receiving care during the fertility process is important, the care you and your partner receive well before this phase may actually be even more crucial.

In the US today, only about 14% of people are talking with their provider before trying to conceive. Of the care that is provided, there are several gaps that have yet to be filled. Frame plays a critical role in closing these gaps ensuring that this happens for both patients and providers.

"I’ve hesitated to share my story because I am one of the lucky ones. Me and my partner, Corey went through our infertility ups and downs like many people. We stepped away from our careers to address our health and the mental load of it all. We spent thousands of dollars on treatment. I experienced significant waves of anxiety and depression. Our story is not all stories. But it’s a story, and it inspired the company we’ve built. Head to the link in bio to read about our journey and why we started Frame." - Jessica, CEO and co-founder, Frame Fertility.
