I had a conversation last night with an adult I knew from my childhood. They had shared a story of me going to them and asking for a need to be met. At the time they didn't understand why I had gone to them instead of telling my Dad. Last night they received the full circle on that ask.

I felt safe asking them for what I needed because I knew they would assist me in having that need met. Realizing now 20+ years later. That I as a child didn't feel safe asking my father to fulfill my needs.

Having parents that would not fulfill the needs of their children.
It was their choice not too. It's what they knew as familiar and the effort was more than they wanted to put forth.

I as a parent knew there was another way and I tried those ways. By no means was I perfect but I was determined to put forth the effort to love my family differently and supportively. Making sure needs were met and asks would be heard.

It's one of the top #1 compliments I receive from my clients. "WOW, I feel so seen and heard. The space you hold is so loving no matter what I'm working through".

Providing a safe place for my clients to show up be witness and entrain to becoming their own safe place.

I hadn't heard this song before and the instructor stated that "the spirit in the room said the music must keep playing".

Tears ran down my face my heart broke open even more as I received the knowing and feeling of my calling. I will continue to show up, I will follow the call of my heart and soul.

"It's not about what it looks like, it's about how it feels".

I've trusted my intuition and guidance this far why would I stop?

For years I did not listen or follow my guidance, unless it was so strong I couldn't ignore it. With the way my life has unfolded because I learned to listen. I followed my inner compass 🧭 I not only Love the work that I do, I love watching how it transforms the life's of others.
This life chose me, I didn't even know I could live life like this.
