Mile 62 is where things get real.

Grateful to be part of the sports med crew at Foresthill —chiropractors, PTs, MDs, nurses, and volunteers all coming together to keep these runners going.

By the time they get here, it’s not just about fixing feet or cooling core temps. It’s about reminding them they’re not alone. That they’re seen. That they’ve got this.

It’s wild, gritty, emotional, and honestly… kind of beautiful.

Did you know?
For decades, chiropractic care wasn’t left out because of a lack of research—it was politics.
The Wilk v. AMA lawsuit exposed efforts to discredit chiropractic care and delay its inclusion in mainstream healthcare.

Just had the chance to hear from some of the biggest names shaping health, mindset, and performance—live.

Jay Shetty on purpose.
Andrew Huberman on neuroscience.
Angela Duckworth on grit.
Gary Vee on momentum.
Dr. Gabrielle Lyon on muscle-centric medicine.
Dr. Richard Harris on functional medicine and precision health.

Each brought a unique lens, but the through-line was clear: optimal performance starts before something breaks down. That’s exactly what I believe in at ProActive Chiropractic—intervening early, balancing intelligently, and unlocking human potential with a system that supports longevity.

Inspired. Fired up. Let’s keep raising the bar.

At the top of the bobsled & skeleton track, athletes are about to drop. Prior a ome get fine-tuned before, some after—but all warm up every time. Once they push off, they’re down in under 40 seconds.

So how long do you think they warm up? 🤔

Answer: 15-30 minutes on average. And there’s a reason for that.

🔥 Boosts power & speed (get the most out of every movement)
🦵 Activates muscles (so they fire when you need them)
🚫 Reduces injury risk (less pain, more gains)

A review in the British Journal of Sports Medicine confirms that warming up properly helps prevent injuries and improve movement efficiency. If Olympians don’t skip it, neither should you.

Lesson from the pros: If you want to move better, lift better, or play longer, start with a solid warm-up.

How long is your warm-up? Drop your routine below! ⬇️

🔹 Elite athletes aren’t just managing pain—they’re excellent at managing imbalances. 🔹

Working with USA Bobsled & Skeleton at the Lake Placid Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, I see firsthand how high-performance athletes fine-tune their bodies before injuries happen. The same applies to anyone pushing their limits—whether you’re sprinting, playing golf, pickleball, running, or strength training hard.

In sports like bobsled and skeleton, athletes deal with:
⚡ Hamstring strains from explosive starts
🚀 Back & neck stress from intense G-forces

But here’s what’s interesting—most don’t report pain. Instead, they notice subtle imbalances—a hip that doesn’t fire right, a slight shift in their sprint mechanics, a stiff rotation. Those early warning signs that’s where injury prevention starts.

This is exactly why proactive care matters. If you’re feeling an imbalance—before pain even kicks in—it’s time to check in. Small tweaks today = longevity in your sport. 💪

From Nordic skiing to bobsled and skeleton, Lake Placid has been packed with world-class competition. With the 2025 FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships wrapped up and Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton back from international races, it’s time to fine-tune before the season finale—the IBSF Bobsled & Skeleton World Championships in just a few weeks.

Dialing in recovery and performance with an elite crew of ATCs, chiropractors, PTs, massage therapists, coaches, and strength trainers. Precision matters at this level—because a fraction of a second can mean the podium or the sideline.

Just returned from an inspiring conference where I was not only immersed in innovative practices to bring back to my patients, but also proud to see my closest friends and collaborators take the stage as the standout speakers! (talk on biomechanics) (pre and postnatal care) (talk about ultramarathon training and care)🎤Grateful to share this journey with such talented individuals. Our field can be isolating and I was reminded how impacted my practice is by the insights they share with me. Here’s to providing impactful care together! 💪💡

This week I had the opportunity to speak to a small group of fourth-year Chiropractic students at Palmer West. It was a pleasure coaching with fellow 04 alarm, Dr. Brant Pedersen. The student showed up with curiosity and fantast questions. Can’t believe I’ve been in practice 20 years.
