How do you know you’re working hard enough in you’re training to build muscle? of Opt has a simple tip to help: work hard enough that by the end of each set, the weight can’t move as fast as it did at the beginning. Whether you do 4 reps a set or 14 or 40, the veteran CSCS trainer says, if your reps are slowing down, it means you’re pushing your limits.

Are you getting your labs done every 3-6 months? Because even if you’re training hard and eating right, you should be, as explains. Two key reasons why:

1️⃣ progress checks. Getting your biomarkers regularly tested insures that you know exactly how much the work you’re putting in is changing your body. That’s valuable long-term information

2️⃣ motivation! Once you understand how far your work in the gym and the kitchen is going (or how much farther it could go), you’ll have more reason to stay the course or push harder. Workout and nutrition motivation isn’t always easy, but seeing those labs can help!

There are a lot of fancy workouts out there, but when it comes to longevity, the basics will take you farther 💪

sent us this 3-move routine to help you stay strong, resilient, and younger for longer. Save this for your workout tomorrow!

1️⃣ Romanian Deadlift – Hold dumbbells, hinge at your hips (not your back), lower until you feel a hamstring stretch, then stand tall.
2️⃣ Bent-Over Row – With a flat back, hinge slightly forward, pull dumbbells toward your ribs, squeeze shoulder blades together.
3️⃣ Reverse Lunge – Step one foot back, drop into a lunge, push through your front heel to return. Alternate legs.
Do these 3x/week.
