sent us this 3-move routine to help you stay strong, resilient, and younger for longer. Save this for your workout tomorrow!

1️⃣ Romanian Deadlift – Hold dumbbells, hinge at your hips (not your back), lower until you feel a hamstring stretch, then stand tall.
2️⃣ Bent-Over Row – With a flat back, hinge slightly forward, pull dumbbells toward your ribs, squeeze shoulder blades together.
3️⃣ Reverse Lunge – Step one foot back, drop into a lunge, push through your front heel to return. Alternate legs.

Dr. Walker’s recent VO2 max test clocked in at 60.1 mL/kg/min — placing him in the top 1% for men his age. 🏆

❓What is VO2 max?
It’s the gold-standard measure of cardiorespiratory fitness: how much oxygen your body can take in, transport, and use during intense exercise.

🏃‍♀️Why it matters:
•A higher VO₂ max means more oxygen delivery to your muscles, better performance, and quicker recovery.

•It’s strongly linked to longevity — research shows people with high VO2 max have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality.

•The higher your VO2max, the better reserve you have to maintain whole-body function. For instance, you will have more reserve for immunity, cognition, and healing.

🚨 Heard of a DEXA scan yet? If you’re working with Opt Health docs, you have 😉
Think of it as a speedy (10 min!) full-body check-in that tells us way more than a scale ever could. It’s the gold standard for seeing what’s really going on inside your body—bones, fat, and muscle.

Here’s the scoop from ’s own recent scan 👇

1️⃣ Bone Strength (BMD)
We want your bones solid—especially in your spine + hips. This is how we see your risk of osteopenia or osteoporosis. On slide 3, Dr. Walker’s scan shows strong numbers there (ribs are naturally a little softer, so don’t panic). The T score is important to know — you’ll want it >1.
2️⃣ Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT)
Slide 4 shows the amount of fat you have around your organs inside your belly and it is inextricably related to metabolic disease. Under 1 lb is the goal. Dr. Walker? 311 grams. Crushing it.
3️⃣ Total Body Fat % (TBF)
Yes, we track this, but it’s not just about the mirror. Men: we aim for 8–15%. Women: 15–25%. Check out Dr. Walker’s results on slide 4.
4️⃣ Lean Muscle Mass (ALMI)
Think strong arms + legs. Sweet spot = 8–10. Dr. Walker on slide 5? 9.25. 💪
