Both Sun (the bright star that gives us life) and the Moon (which shines her healing, sweet light upon us) are in Leo. This is a New Moon cycle, so that "wish upon a star" energy (or the Moon or the Sun) is potentized. Dance the night away, read a book, share a meal...and, most importantly, shine your light. Ain't life grand? (Bad grammar intended.)

Have the courage to be kind even if something or someone gets on your nerves today, as the Moon squares off with Mars (who can get pretty testy if emotions run high). The holidays, while emphasizing love, also can cause incredible stress, especially when you're not feeling "nice" or "fine" and/or you would rather just be chilling out alone. So if you want to take space, don't hesitate. No apologies or explaining needed.

Realizing that there are a LOT of details to take care of before I blithely board that flight to Bali. I have to put everything in storage here, get my hair colored (vanity!), get currency changed, stop all of my subscriptions, try to not lose my mind...

Just booked a roundtrip ticket to Bali for 3 months. I’m crying and shaking, terrified and excited beyond words. I leave in less than 2 weeks, just my backpack, me, my hopes, wishes dreams and fears. I leave on October 7th on Cathay. Please, someone, pinch me! I’ve never traveled solo before except within my home state of California.

When you separate from an old lifestyle that you've grown accustomed to, it's like realizing that it no longer holds you. Its emotional springs have sprung and it actually feels better to get up, move around, shake your b***y and...well, invest in a new lifestyle.
