Before and after as part of a in a 44 year old woman. After having her children, she found that her abdominal muscles bulged apart and she felt less stability of her core. She was very physically active and no amount of ab work could bring her muscles back together. She had **usdiastasis, permanent separation of the **usabdominis muscles after multiple pregnancies.

A was performed at the same time as a and . Excess skin and fat from her lower abdomen was excised, and her abdominal muscles were repaired to one another in the midline. Her belly button was brought out through a new skin opening. Liposuction removed stubborn fat from her upper and lower abdomen, flanks, upper inner thighs and axillary rolls.

Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scar is fading and her abdominal contour is flat. She feels like her has her pre-pregnancy abdomen back and no longer feels instability of her core when doing pushups and planks. She doesn’t mind the abdominal scar being longer than her old C-section scars – she feels it’s worth it!

Before and after in a 36-year-old Mom who lost a significant amount of weight in addition to giving birth to three children. She wished to improve the contour of her breasts without adding an implant and to regain her pre-pregnancy abdominal tone.

Her personalized Mommy Makeover included a ( ) without implants and a . This combined procedure rejuvenated the breasts and the tummy, repaired her abdominal muscles back toward one another in the midline, and helped to reestablish her body image.

After surgery, she felt more confident in her own skin and more like herself again. Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. She has started scar therapy and understands that the dark pigmentation of her incisions is genetically normal for her. The incisions will gradually fade over several months to a year.

Before and after upper and lower in a 55 year old woman. She previously had only a right-sided for a single-sided baggy lower eyelid. Years later, her upper lids and the left lower lid caught up. She now wished to have her remaining three eyelids lifted to fully rejuvenate her eyes.

She had scheduled another procedure to be done concurrently that required general anesthesia, so she went to sleep for surgery instead of having surgery under local anesthesia, as would occur if was done alone.

A strip of skin measured by the technique was removed from both of her upper lids and her left lower lid, but deep pockets and fat and muscle was left alone. The last image shows the skin removed from her lids – due to elastin in the tissue removed, it has contracted 2-3 times its width.

Postoperatively, she used cool packs against her eyes to limit swelling and bruising for the first several days. Her bruising resolved within two weeks. She found the blepharoplasty recovery much easier than her !

Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. She looks normal and natural, which is always the goal for facial aesthetic surgery.

Before and after delayed (after mastectomy) and revision breast implant reconstruction in a 61 year old woman. Many years ago, she had bilateral prophylactic mastectomies with removal of her ni***es and ar**las. While she never developed breast cancer, she unfortunately developed infections and lost her implants one at a time, with interim replacement of implants before a final successful reconstruction surgery.

Shown are before images after loss of her implants on one side or the other, with after images a year after reconstruction of one side and 3 months after reconstruction of the other. She decided to forgo ni**le reconstruction and fat grafting as final stages due to many past wound healing issues, primarily from very thin mastectomy skin flaps.

Smooth round were placed on top of the muscle in the position. While reconstruction results can never be “perfect”, she is happy with her results. She feels “as whole again as possible” and can finally get on with her life after years of complications.

Before and after bilateral and in a 27 year old woman. Her formerly full breasts had lost volume and become droopy after having children. She wanted her past fullness back and a perky result.

Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Her ar**la diameter was reduced, and her ni***es lifted. Excess baggy skin from the lower pole of the breast was removed. removed excess fat from her armpit region (axillary rolls) and the bra roll/upper back fat area.

Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. She has a pleasing round shape and pink incisions, as expected. She is actively applying scar gel and knows her scars will eventually fade to look like her C-section scar. She loves her new breasts!

Before and after of the in a 45 year old woman. She disliked how this fat hung out of her workout tops. She was fit and slender, but still had fat in this part of her body.

As part of her surgery, excess unwanted fat was removed from her armpit regions using liposuction. Two tiny (2 mm) incisions were made in the fold of her armpit. Three ounces of fat (90 cc) were removed per side.

Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. This is such a fantastic add-on to any breast surgery, cosmetic or reconstructive!

Before and after with an and **larmastopexy. or often have a pointy shape, a puffy ar**la and a high fold that creates the look of droopiness despite a relatively small breast volume. This is called due to a footprint.

This patient not only wanted fuller breasts that were more proportional to her body, but a more natural and pleasing breast shape. A combined procedure was planned.

Smooth round were placed = . This allowed the implant to recruit some chest wall skin to create a more round lower pole of the breast.

A peri-ar**lar pushed back her protruding “poochy” ar**la and eliminated the old high breast fold that is characteristic of a tubular breast. of the removed a small amount of armpit fat.

The last set of images show intraoperative details after the left breast has been corrected and the plan for the right breast. The has been lowered, the implant increases the breast volume and rounds out the bottom of the breast, and the incision around the ar**la corrects the herniated ar**la.

Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. Her scars are still pink as expected but are starting to fade. For once, she feels comfortable with a new romantic partner and loves that she no longer needs padding her in bras to get the breast size and shape she always wanted!

Before and after in a 49 year old woman. She had previously had a procedure elsewhere and was told she had a full , including **usabdominis muscle repair. However, when she exercised, she still felt a large abdominal bulge and felt her abdominal muscles were not working well. She was also left with standing cone deformities of the ends of her lower abdominal scar, called by Plastic Surgeons.

A was planned together with a . Her lower abdominal scar was opened and dissection upwards revealed that her muscles had not been repaired. Muscle separation from the xiphoid process to the p***c bone, called **usdiastasis, is very common after several pregnancies as the muscles are stretched apart and the pressure of subsequent pregnancies limits their ability to rebound back together.

Her re**us abdominis muscles were repaired in two layers (shown by purple lines in the photo) from the outside in, and the abdominal skin was pulled tightly downward. This lessened the appearance of any remaining that could not be removed during surgery. The dog ears were excised, and removed excess fat from her upper and lower abdomen, flanks, p***c region and inner and outer thighs. The last image shows the fat that was removed by the liposuction portion of surgery.

Follow up images are shown nine months after her procedure. Her scars are starting to fade, and she was so grateful that she finally got the outcome that she wanted in the first place!
