As a community health center, NEMS is proud to offer co-located medical and dental services, promoting patient access, convenience, and affordability. NEMS currently provides dental services at eight clinics: 1520 Stockton Clinic in San Francisco’s Chinatown; 1033 Clement Clinic in San Francisco’s Richmond neighborhood; 2574 San Bruno Clinic in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood; 1798 19th Avenue Clinic and 1430 Taraval Clinic in San Francisco’s Sunset District; 211 Eastmoor Clinic and 1850 Sullivan Clinic in Daly City; and 1870 Lundy Clinic in the city of San Jose. A brand new dental clinic will also open in September 2025 at 939 Story Road in San Jose's Vietnam Town.

All of our current dental clinics provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. We use a variety of innovative dental technologies and methods to increase efficiency, safety and comfort for our patients, including intraoral scanners, 3D printing, and even acupressure blankets to keep patients calm. The more innovative options we can provide, as NEMS Dental Director Dr. Nathan Yang explains, "the better we can help everyone in our community really feel that oral care should be routine."

Intermediate Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention
太極中级班：關節炎和預防跌倒

Based on the Sun style, the Tai Chi Program is a low impact physical activity program that includes gentle movements suitable for people of all ages, mobility, ability and fitness levels with any form of arthritis. Tai Chi for Health Institute certified instructors are trained on how arthritis affects the body, arthritis safety principles and the approved forms. Classes don’t require deep bending or squatting, are one-hour long and may be done seated or standing. Improve your qi today!

八月是全國免疫宣傳月！

highlights the importance of staying up to date on vaccinations throughout our lives to help protect individuals and communities from serious diseases. We understand that busy schedules can make it hard to keep up with routine vaccinations. That’s why this month is a great time to check in with your doctor or healthcare provider to ensure you and your family are protected. If you’d like to learn more about immunizations, we invite you to attend a NEMS Health Education Workshop.

Good news! Flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be available for walk-ins starting mid-September. For details or help finding a convenient location to get your vaccines, talk to a staff member at any NEMS Pharmacy, Front Desk, or Call Center.

The VIP Lounge Show will feature NEMS Clinical Lab Technician Supervisor, Ms. Marina Lee, on KTSF, airing TONIGHT, 7/24, at 8:30 PM and again on Sunday, 7/27, at 9:30 PM! (The show will be presented in Cantonese.)
