Dr. Lance von Stade is the owner of the Golden Gate Chiropractic Center in San Francisco, CA. As a chiropractor he serves a diverse population and spent years specializing in active families. He previously practiced at The Source Chiropractic in Oakland, California – awarded Best of Oakland in 2015 and 2016. He served as adjunct faculty at Life Chiropractic College West and as teaching staff for I
rene Gold Board Reviews, where he prepared students to take the American chiropractic licensing exams. Dr. Lance has also served the sports medicine field and elite athlete population as a chiropractor, Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Performance Specialist. A few notable positions he has held are:
- Head athletic trainer & strength coach: USA Water Polo Women’s Senior National Team (back-to-back gold medals 2009, 2010 World Championships)
- Athletic Trainer: USA Volleyball U-19 Men’s National Team (Bronze medal 2010 Pan-Am Cup)
- Performance Specialist: Chinese Women’s Olympic Judo Team (Silver medal 2012 Olympics)
- Presenter: 2010 American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting – “Functional Strength Training for Olympic Athletes”
While teaching cell physiology at Life Chiropractic College West, Dr. Lance emphasized the concept of the influence of movement and the chiropractic adjustment on the capabilities of biological physical performance at the cellular level. He now travels the world applying his experience in developing high-performance strategies in elite athletes and the delivery of chiropractic adjustment techniques to support optimal health.
