down with a fractured hand following a hard fall. What does this mean for his play with the ? Steph is likely to miss some time, but it will depend on the severity of the injury. If the injury is located on the wrist, the bone could heal 8-10 weeks in a cast, with extra time needed for strengthening after. If the injury is severe, Steph could possibly need surgery - which could extend the recovery time by a few months. The wrist is very complicated and a delicate joint. While its still early Steph could be out for a couple of months minimum.

The team at Proactive is praying πŸ™ for a speedy recovery

We are proud to live in and serve the residents of the Bay Area and giving back to our community is something we strive for everyday. And this year for Giving Tuesday (on December 3rd), we thought we’d do something special.

We are excited to launch our Giving Tuesday Fitness Challenge called Move to Connect. During the month of November we will be encouraging all our patients and staff to do an exercise of their choice during their clinic visit. For each rep they do, Proactive Physical Therapy will donate $1 to Miracle Messages on Giving Tuesday. Doing exercises has never felt this good!

Our goal is to donate $1,000 to , which does phenomenal work in connecting our homeless population with their loved ones.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Pick your exercise
Step 2: Perform reps during your clinic visit
Step 3: One Rep = $1 donated by Proactive Physical Therapy to
Step 4: Keep up the habit and workout again!

Eligible Exercises:
Push Ups | Sit Ups | Kettlebell Squats | Burpees
Planks - 10 Second Plank = $1 Donated

Can’t exercise? Donate directly to and support our neighbors!

September is Pain Awareness Month. Opioid addiction and overdoses are a national crisis. And according to the CDC, roughly a quarter to a third of opioid users for chronic pain will develop an addiction or misuse them.

Physical therapy offers a safe alternative to pain management. PT can help you manage chronic and acute pain through hands-on care. Choose PT first!
